Where do I start? First, they attempted to rebuild the original transmission. That attempt took three weeks. When completed, it didn't last 3 days. Took it back, this time they said it was a pump failure. Now, going on three more weeks, they still haven't fixed the problem. I am now in financial ruins.
Also, every time they said they would call me back with an update, they don't. Instead of simply replacing the old transmission with a factory rebuilt one, they continue to add to injury by not doing what is obviously the right thing. My next review will be with the better business bureau.

This is a Good Shop!
Spoke to Zach and explained I wanted to check that my vehicle was driving normally.
Took my vehicle to them to check that the transmission was working as it should with over 200,000 miles on the odometer.
They took me in even when it was busy. Two hours later, they came out and said the transmission is good and that there is no charge for the inspection.
They really went above and beyond to give me assurance. Very friendly environment and I recommend this place for anyone looking for general car care.

Great service
We had a 2010 Nissan towed to their shop. The experience was so positive even though we decided to junk the car. The options we were offered showed caring and knowledge of the transmission world.
I checked other repair shops and their recommendations were spot on. They went way above the normal customer service expected. I would recommend Low Cost .

Unprofessional
How can I say this I took my truck to fix my flexplate and was sold with the best one they got well j pay close to 900.00 dollars to fix it and done... little after I have my suspension done by them and they had offered me a free oil change and I reminded them and the said they took care of it...after I got home I checked my oil filter which I mark and it was still the same. That's when I knew they were not honest. So after 8 months my truck went in neutral and not knowing what happened I had a tow truck tow it to nearest shop and was told that the flexplate was broken.i told them it was fairly new the said ot was a cheap brand flimsy and my truck need a oem supposly what they sold me was oem and whe I call them and told them what happened they try to replace the part for me what good it does the same shitty part that didn't work the first time. And my truck is fix and it cost me 662.00 again.real oem and real guarantee I had people told me about them and I didn't believe and is true they will find anything to not guarantee their work.

Awesome service and deals
Every time I bring a written quote from another repair shop, Lost Cost Transmission beats their price. Sometimes their expertise reveals the repair work recommended by the other shop wasn’t even required.
Today Zach at Low Cost Transmission surprised me with a FREE oil change! Who can top that???

Terribly unsafe parking, disorganized line and counter. Got to head of line, sorry have to wait for so and so. He finally comes back, now they're having us customers talk across and over each other at the tiny counter. 45 min wait longer... for the 2 min, "walk-in", carco insurance inspection. No, you can't schedule an appointment and your complaining is rude, get out.
Guess what guys, idc if you get only $2 per inspection. Learn how to schedule. MAKE A SAFE, OR ANY, PARKING AREA. And then just stop sucking so hard

Great job at a great price and i was done in 3 days
Zach and his dad Carl greeted me in a respectful manner. Their diagnostic skills were second to none.They immediately started working on my vehicle and completed it in three days. Zach dad Carl gave me a ride home to Holiday Fl. 35 miles from shop. Other shops wanted several hundreds of dollars more. They made this transmission overhaul a pleasurable experience. I would recommend this great team to anyone who needs transmission repair. Thank-you and God bless Zach and Carl his dad.

Warranty?!? Hahaha they don’t stand behind anything
I have a fleet of tow trucks. I’ve spent over $50k in 2018 with Carl and his band of idiots. He guaranteed in writing 3 year warranty. Every single transmission he ever “built” had issues within 6 months. He never stood behind anything always claiming “driver error” that was his go to line. “Driver error” but I’ll fix it for cost. Only for it to fail weeks later. He was run out of St Pete for burying Aamco on 5th ave s. He never lasts more then 2 years at a location. He bad mouths every transmission shop out there and he’s the WORSE. Time for a court to get involved!! Can’t wait!

Lying scumbag
You had my car for 2 months you told me every other day your mechanic was on it. I had to find out through a third party that you had given up on fixing my car. You broke the front seats, parts missing, ants crawling everywhere inside, smells like you had an orgy in my car. Did you give up the first day? Never do business here incompotent.

Best service I have ever encounter in a auto mechanic industry
Last month my daughters car would not go onto gear we thought it was the transmission I had the car towed to Low cost transmission after being checked out it was not the transmission but another part associated with the transmission they fixed it that day for a great price. Yesterday it took it to them to replace the wheel bearing again the service from the very professional women that answered the phone to the mechanic to the price was once again a super Experience I won't take my car anywhere else have already received my next 2 estimate thank you for the great service

The Worst Auto Repair Experiance I Ever Had!
RUN, do not walk away from this place. I had my engine rebuilt there and it was the very worst experiance I've ever had with an auto repair facilities in my 56 years of driving. The cost was way over a $1,000 more than was quoted and it took months to complete instead of the weeks promised. The enigne self destructed in just over 10,000 miles but it was out of their 12 month waranttee so I was screwed. The industry standard is 36,000 miles or 36 months. BEWARE! DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Trustworthy and Honest!
We purchased a 2002 Mustang for our son and needless to say have had a few issues. Brought it to one auto care company in Tampa they raced our car and charged me $1000.00 and never got the issues fixed! We decided to bring it to Carl and Zach and they have been awesome! They have resolved the issues we have had in a timely, honest and affordable fashion! They can do anything from a simple oil change to a Transmission rebuild! Their team is awesome don’t waste any more time at other repair shops just come to Low Cost!

RUN, do not walk from this place. They are the very worst car repair experiance I have ever had in my life and I'm 72 years old. I had my engine rebuilt there and it wound up costing $1,000's more then I was quoted. Plus, it took them months to do the job when it was supposed to be weeks. The worst part is that the engine self destructed after only 10,000 or so miles after the rebuild. Their warrantee is only 12 months or 12,000 miles when the industry standard is 36 months or 36,000 miles. I wish I had read these reveiws prior to doing business with them. BEWARE!!

Had awful experience that cost me over $6,000 and still costing to correct
I brought my car 9/08/2017 and did not get car back until 02/04/2018 after $5’800 and car was not fixed had to take car to Art Ryan for another $790 to complete work. Then when I brought to to get oil change I was notified that they didn’t replace the splash guard under car costing me another $190. Very unprofessional and lack of concern for my car, money and business. Worst service ever received ever and still costing me to undo what was cause by Low Cost Transmission. Good luck to you all!
