We began having our cars serviced by Performance Auto close to 20 years ago. Rick and crew have serviced many cars of ours through the years keeping them safely and efficiently running well past 200k miles. Rick has been instrumental in helping our daughters when they were buying their first used cars by checking the cars out with an eye towards “would I want my daughter to drive this car”. In all those years, all those cars, we have never been disappointed by the service we have received and have and will continue to recommend our friends and family.
They usually can take my car within a day and do the work well. Cost is pretty average not high not low. And having PSC just down the road from me is a plus, too
I have been taking my cars to Rick for 20 years now. He is stand up business man that leads with integrity. The range of auto technician knowledge that this shop has is very impressive. I see Performance Service Center take on repair jobs that many other mechanics would shy away from, but Rick does it because he likes to take care of his customers.
Rick and crew always have time to fit my car into their busy schedule, they always turn around the work quickly, iand the work is always done right. They also go out of their way to be helpful and notified me of a recall on my car that I was not aware of. And they’re dog friendly!
I am so pleased to have such a good mechanic. I have only great things to say about Rick and Matt. I get honest diagnosis of all problems, and Rick always takes time to explain things well. As a single female I have never felt taken advantage of by Performance Service. I love the high integrity and the excellent work on my car that I always receive!
As a single woman, I was blessed to find Rick and his crew. This team has kept my '85 Toyota pickup [298,000 miles] and '99 Toyota Forerunner [447,696 miles] running smoothly for over 20 years. I believe in taking good care of my cars, Performance is key in doing that. I'm given options and I know Rick does his best to keep costs reasonable. Another key thing, especially for women who may not be mechanically fluent in car-speak, Rick LISTENS. I don't know parts and pieces, but I can HEAR when something is amiss. I can describe it [or make a pathetic attempt to mimic it] and Rick nods and says "ahhh, that sounds like your ." He goes off to investigate and calls me with the prognosis, any alternatives for service, and quotes to go with the solution. Performance never surprises you with additional costs, and gets work done when promised.
I always send all my vehicles to Rick for any thing I might need. I recommend them to friends and family. He’s always straightforward and addresses the problems I need addressed and keeps me informed of anything else that pops up during servicing. He works with me and within my budget and I’m always happy when I leave.
