So this is about Mid atlantic off route 3 taking full advantage of me. So Mid Atlantic did an oil change on my nissan altima. They said the check engine light was on and needed to be looked at. They said the Cam shaft position solenoid needed replacing. So I let them do it along with the oil change. Come to find out the Camshaft postiion solenoid didn't fix the problem and my car started sputtering and dying at idle. They said I would need a new engine. 5,000 dollars. I got a second opinion from 7Oaks auto care off telegraph road in odenton. They fixed the problem. All it needed was a tune-up and to have the correct camshaft position solenoid put in it. Mid Atlantic screwed up and replaced the wrong part thinking it was the camshaft solenoid. It was actually An intermediate phase lock solenoid. The solenoids are identical but they have a different place they fit on the engine. Thank you Tony for fixing a problem that Mid Atlantic tried to fix but couldn't then lied about to try and get me to put in an engine. Plus Tony did it for a fraction of what they were charging.

Electrical Nightmare
I had a problem with a check engine light coming on for over a year. Off then on Off then on Off then on. I've been to 4 shops in the area. I made repairs to my purge valve
my fuel control module, my PAIR system pump whatever those are they were all replaced and still had a check engine light for the same problems. I decided I had enough and went to this guy a friend of mine referred me to. Tony at Seven Oaks Auto Care. He looked over my problems and dedcided the problem was not aproblem with each individual component but and electrical problem "higher in the circuit" is the way he explained it. He deduced that if we run a new power supply circuit to the existing circuit that it should resolve my problems. I couldn't afford the fuse block. 450 dollars. Apparently that's where the problem existed. So he ran another power supply circuit and a month later now nocheck engine light. The guys a wizard with electrical problems. Not a bad price either. 300 bucks total. thank you Tony.

Lexus
My lexus had a severe shimmy while braking. The dealer wanted to replace my struts.
They are apparently filled with gold. 1500.00 each. I took my lexus to seven oaks for a second opinion. Tony looked at my vehicle on a lift. He said all you need are brakes. Whoooooooo. Almost got raped. No more problem and no big expense. Nothing wrong with my struts

The dealer lied to me
My lincoln aviator developed a noise that was pretty scary. I didn't know what it was. They looked at it for an hour and told me i had a rod knock and i needed a new engine. 8000.00. I was crushed. Just by chance I went by 7 0aks and the front desk guy was friendly enough. So i told him what the dealer said and he didn't believe i had a rod knock. I thought it was ridiculous too. I've always been good about my oil changes. He put it in the air and let me look as well. In a moment he knew it was a catalytic diverter. So we replaced them and now the noise is gone and i didn't have to spend 8000.00 Thank you 7 oaks for your honesty. Good guy.

So happy
I have an audi A4. The dealership told me my shaking steering wheel during braking was caused by weak front bushings. I called 7 oaks. They didn't even need to see the vehicle to know I was being told the wrong information. The dealership wanted $2500.00 to change out my bushings. Tony replaced the brakes. It took care of my issue for a fraction of what the dealer wanted to fix my problem. Found out the bushings were actually in great condition. Shame on Antwerpen.

Persistent
This guy fixed my tow package electrical problem. Good troubleshooter. Other places in the area couldn't figure it out. I spent a lot of money before bringing it to Tony. I recommend him for hard electrical problems definitely.

little shop of glories
I would say that Tony was triumphant in fixing my emissions problem but that would be an understatement. He not only fixed a problem a few shops in the area couldn't fix after three attempts but he improved my gas mileage remarkably in result. I'll be seeing this fella for regular visits as well. Thanks again 7 Oaks

Appreciative
Thank you Tony for making a difficult situation manageable. Reasonable and fairly priced so far. The only hiccup. Parts took longer than usual to get. I guess covid is affecting all aspects of small businesses.

Thank goodness
So i was caught in between being able to get my vehicle inspected. My north carolina registration expired. Apparently these guys have a transport tag that can be used to perform the inspection. Other places can't do it without good out of state registration. So it was only a fifty dollar fee. My vehicle failed for a few items but they were taken care of the same day. Didn't interrupt my plans for the week. My light had to be repaired do to a previous repair that failed but the guy fixed it free.
Called for a quote on the Maryland state inspection and was informed that without looking at my vehicle, the insurance and registration that he could not give a price. When asked what on those documents influence cost, he could not answer. My daughter also took her mini SUV and was blindly charged $140 for an inspection and nearly $400 for nominal repairs (wiper, light fixture and battery). I would not recommend taking any of your business here. There practices are shady and they appear to take advantage of the ill-informed. Extremely unprofessional.
