Guest was informed before purchase we would still still have to submit a credit application to the bank he obtained his pre-approval from in order to obtain rate and E-contract. Guest even allowed me to submit his credit profile to another bank in order to obtain a better interest rate. Guest was kept in the loop this entire process and was grateful at the time for helping him obtain a better rate.
