Quick turn around time and great customer service!
A big thanks to Towne MINI for it's excellent customers service! As a single parent and a one car household having a courtesy car relieves so much of the anxiety when my car needs repairs. Sending me a detailed list with pictures of needed repairs and answering all my silly questions made my experience that much easier. And the free inspection to identify possible upcoming normal wear repairs helps with prevention of further issues. Definitely worth the 2hr drive ?
I bought my Mini used about 3 years ago I have taken good care of it, I had it in for service twice during that time for normal wear and tear to the tune of at least $3,000, then about a month ago my check engine light went on and I took it in for service, I got a report back saying it will cost me $7,250 for repairs, I was stuck still owing $7,000 on a car loan. The people at Mini seemed to pretend sympathy but in the end the refused to do anything to help me out or work with me, and the topper is when they sold me the car someone should have mentioned that a previous owner had a cat who obviously pissed in the car, because when it gets damp there is a distinct oder. Mini Cooper sold me a car that was bad and still charged me for the diagnostic test before they would let me have my car back. They I believe are a dis-honest group and probably will be no better when West Herr takes over the dealership.
I am always looking for a bargain. Not sure I got the one I expected. Quiet day at Towne MINI . Quality work. Cost more than I thought it would though. Coupon was a little misleading. Friendly staff. Not much for them to do on New Years Eve with few customers. Allowed me to get my oil change done quickly though.
Been dealing with Towne since 2006. Just got my 6th Mini from them. No other dealership I've dealt with over the years even comes close to Towne. In fact I can honestly say I've had less then great and even poor experiences at several other dealerships but never anyting less that great at Towne.
Arrived about 10:05 AM for my 10 AM appointment time left a little before 2 PM. For an oil change, NYS car inspection and a system's phone update (that I did not know about prior to arriving) the manufacture sent out, and I did have the option to come back another day (I live a 30 minute drive away so didn't want to loose another day sitting at the dealer's. Almost 4 hours seemed excessively long for these things to get gone. No one else waiting in the tv area. They did say all loaners were taken the week before when I made the reservation. West Herr recently punched this deal and there were many West Herr bodies coming and going interacting with the staff which may have been a factor.
I always get excellent service here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area is comfortable, a definite plus.
Thanks Towne Mini

I would do it again!
In early October, I was t-boned and my Mini gave her life to save mine. It was devastating as I have never spent that much on a car, nor have I ever been as in love with a car as much as I was with “Libre”. ?
After three months of trying to find a replacement, we found one on KBB started and working with Alan Reszetucha Towne Mini in NY. I can’t praise the process enough. Alan was amazing; he was honest, easy to work with, and he went above and beyond as he threw in some little surprises in the boot for when my car arrived in WI. “Sunny” is absolutely stunning!! ??? All my "Mini" groups have heard his praise.
Told it would take about an hour. Is 2 hours and 50 minutes an hour in Towne Mini time? Hmmmm I have to drive from Syracuse (2 hours away) for service. This additional wait time completely changed my day and wasted a great deal of my time. Had I been informed on the phone when I made the appointment two weeks prior-I would have arranged for an earlier time for my appointment.
Everyone at mini dealership so pleasant …Samantha kept me posted at each step . All the work done in very very reasonable amount of time and car looked great when they were finished. Thanks for the great service all !
