The Ultimate Cruiser
I have owned this car for 6 years almost to the day. It has been wonderful! I bought it used with 12,000 miles and 3 years old for $42,000. Now it has 50,000 miles. It’s my baby and I only drive it on nice days and garage it in the winter. It has great throttle response, punchy acceleration, sporty suspension and it all comes together in a smooth ride. No turbo or engine problems. 3 years ago, I had to replace the transmission pan gasket which require replacing the whole baseplate ($800). Im getting ready to replace the spark plugs ($600). Tires have been replaced after 24k miles to Continental DWS ($800). Had to replace the rear tires at only 15,000 miles on them which was unexpected, but makes sense since they are different widths and dimensions than the front tires which are holding up just fine.
