A very reliable car

I bought a Chevrolet Prizm after seeing how pleased my husband was with his 1996 Prizm (then made by Geo). Other than regular maintenance I have had only one issue after 21 years with the idle control. A new idle control has it running better. I'm sorry that the Prizm is no longer made because I would buy another one.

we still drive our 2001 Chevy Prizm

In case you don't know, the 2001 Prizm is actually a Toyota Corolla, and they seem to be indestructible if you maintain them. We've been told they are the most desired car in the Middle East because they can withstand the sand. After almost 20 years of driving, our Prizm is still lively and comfortable.

A great car for longevity

I bought this car new and over the last 18.5 years it has had almost 0 issues, needing only oil change and standard wear and tear maintenance.The gas mileage is admirable (I use it mostly for highway driving).

Dependable AF

My sister found this car on Craigslist for 3K after my 2011 Nissan was totaled. I was going to use this as a temporary vehicle until I received my insurance money, but it’s paid for and I have had NO problems in the year I’ve had it. Plus I’m an Arizona educator and it’s paid for. It’s not the most modern car on the road but I love it and feel safe.
