Traded up from 6 week old TESLA
I purchased a 2022 Tesla and after having it for 6 weeks and trying multiple types of glasses I was unable to see the screen ( only need readers) which is poorly located and there's no dashboard. I had test driven it, but in the excitement didn't realize this major issue. at 61 my eyes aren't going to get better. Also the seats were not leather, and not comfortable to me either. no Apple Carplay or even Android Auto. I also didn't love the fact that the battery was draining just sitting in the driveway. I loved the idea of it, but the actual experience made me take a loss and trade it in. I will admit, the tide was exceptional, but didn't feel like an actual car. I LOVE my Genesis. It has all the bells and whistles of the Tesla without paying a monthly fee to be "connected " Also, the customer experience for taking delivery of the Tesla was DISGRACEFUL I have purchased many vehicles throughout my life and have never been treated so poorly. They spent no time showing me anything...which considering there is no dashboard or buttons would have been useful. Thank goodness it wasn't raining...i never would have figured out the wiper situation. Genesis was a completely different experience...like what you should expect when purchasing a vehicle at any price point especially what is considered a luxury brand. I purchased mine cash and co signed a lease for my son within a week. ..thats how much I love it
