Reliable, great gas milage and fun!

I have owned my Accent for three years. I use it for work, home health. I drive A LOT, open and close the doors and trunk around 20 times a day. If I am late for an appointment, I'm not always driving with caution. This car has put up with a lot of abuse from me. I bought it to drive it into the ground and it has not disappointed. I will be driving it for years to come. With almost 70k miles on it, I have not had to complete any work on it outside of maintenance and tires. Oh, new hatch suspensions, but I put them through abnormal, excessive use. I did my research before buying and it paid off!

Overall very nice, just a tad too small

Great on gas, vehicle price was really good and competitive. Only complaint would be the backseat has very little space, I'm tall so when I put the seat back there is very little leg room in the back.

Accent Hatchback

I am not totally satisfied with our purchase. We had owned Elantra's since we can remember. The Accent is a smart looking car with usual features. The car rides very hard which I like. the car has a noise since installing the sunroof with Meriden Hyundai in the sunroof area. I can live with this. the car in my opinion does NOT get good gas mileage as I am in the service station on a normal week 1.5 - 2 times. The Elantra I am in the service station only once every 1-1.5 weeks. Strange how this model does not get above 21 mpg

On my second Hyundai.

We traded our old 99 accent for a brand new 2013 accent. Wow what a difference in technology and fit and finish inside and out. Great styling on the outside we own the 5 door model. Plenty of power excellent value for the money. Comfortable seats and ride on uneven roads. Excellent cargo room and room for four passengers. Motor is powerful and great shifts in 6 speed auto. Handles well in the snow also on the highway. Also gets great mpg.

Best subcompact out there

My Hyundai Accent is a subcompact but feels larger inside. The ride is great and I get in the low 40s mpg on the highway. Much higher than expected. Overall this is a great car that also has loads of space in the trunk. Only issue is you have to buy a spare tire. Original brakes are over 70K miles and still in good condition.

We are driving our 5th and 6th Hyundai s. I don't think we will ever drive anything else. They are very reliable and we only buy a new one every 4 to 6 years. Great car!

This is my third Accent. We have NEVER had to take any of them in for repairs. We have always just kept them serviced and the oil changed & of course bought new tires. The Accent has great gas mileage and for a small car, is very comfortable. I never worry about going out of town on this car. The Accent is very dependable.
