Hyundai Accent- If this is the bottom (at least in terms of price) , what must the top be like?
I purchased this vehicle because it had the space with the back-seats down to accommodate my wife’s paintings which run as large as 36 inches by 48 inches. No other car in this price range could accommodate these large paintings. Only later did I come to realize what a great little car it was, in terms of gas mileage, seating comfort, among just a few of its virtues. I was really surprised at the smooth ride it gave me, as well as its spunky powerful ride. It has a small engine, and really expected it to feel under-powered. Au Contraire—I found it had power to spare when needed to pass or speed-up to get into the flow of traffic on the highway. I have recently owned a top-of-the-line Audi. While it gave me a more solid road feel and some creature comforts you would expect from a car that cost me almost three times as much, I find that the Hyundai taking all these factors in mind, actually gave me a far better return for my money. In addition , in the first five years of ownership, I haven’t had a single problem with the vehicle. I can’t say the same for the expensive Audi. I started out looking for a bargain, and found that even leaving the price out of the equation, my experience with the Hyundai Accent gave me the most satisfying experience of any new car I have ever purchased. - Warmest regards, Dennis E.
