good small car

this car is fun to drive, looks ok, and gets great mileage. I don't worship the cars I drive or own, so it is hard to get up to 200 characters. I don't plan to drive the car in the winter because it would never get up my driveway, so it should last a long time.

My New Accent

My new Hyundai Accent from Gary Rome feels like a bigger car. The ride is ultra smooth and the trunk is enormous. It came with all the bells and whistles, blue-tooth, back-up camera automatic locks, etc, etc. but little did I know that the best thing of all would be what they call 'routine' maintenance. There's nothing routine about the customer waiting areas with big screen tv and complimentary snacks and beverages. My free oil change included vacuuming my floormats and a bottled water left in my cup holder. Now that is service!

Rain Water Leaks and poor drainage

Rain Water Leaking Inside doors, poor water drainage and possible rusted out doors. - Water does not completely drain out door drains until doors are opened. --- Dealer and Hyundai have refused to repair problem leaving me with an new car at high risk of rust.

The accent is a very affordable and dependable car .and a very comfortable riding driving car. Very roomy inside. and gets great gas mileage . Hyundai of Decatur has some very friendly staff from the receptionist. Sales people. Finance manager and the service department they all treat u like someone. Highly recommend them

This car has treated me so well! It’s super quiet and feels so smooth during drives, even on the highways. All of the features that come with the car are so convenient and easily accessible. I will definitely be a loyal Hyundai buyer from now on!

These are very good cars. They are reliable and comfortable. You cannot beat the price either. I have bought 3 new Hyundai"s in a row. That says enough about them. They're good cars! I would buy one again.

Great vehicle that is full of surprises!

I was very surprised by the roominess of the interior and the trunk, and how comfortable the vehicle is. I am very happy with the safety features as well as bluetooth capability. I love the exterior appearance of the Accent which is very sporty. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a day-to-day commuter and wouldn't recommend this for anyone living in a mountainous or hilly area as the transmission struggles a bit going uphill. Otherwise, it's a very responsive and fun car to drive!

Don't feel screwed...

I commute 33,000 plus miles a year. Good mileage is a must for me. Lots of "economy" cars I've had in the past left me feeling screwed and miserable but not so for my little Hyundai! The base car came equipped with power windows & locks, cruise control, and an automatic transmission that shifts great. It is a nice handling little car that doesn't wallow and lag like economy cars used to. I routinely get 40 mpg or better on my commute. The Bluetooth is another must for me; I love it. Even the backup camera amazes me (that makes me sound old). The only places that really scream "economy car" are the upholstery and some of the hard plastics (like the steering wheel). However, I can live with the less expensive interior when the rest of the car is so good. It is a nice little economy car that doesn't leave me ceeling screwed; it's a good value.

Overall good

Overall the car is good if you want to save money on gas. For a cheaper car the style is nice as well. I like the interior of the car as well that is what sold me. I do not recommend driving this car when it is windy out. Its light so it blows around easily. The basic version sound system isn't very good for bass and the radio is horrible. I do like the car for a basic car but I will be upgrading to a better car after a year.

Ok car

The car is good for commuting from point A to point B. Not recommended for families. Wish there were more leg room in back seat and better looking front. Gas mileage is good, but not that great in accelerated speeds.

Hyundai is the best!!

We bought a new Hyundai Accent and it is a really nice car to drive. It has performed very well for us and it gets an incredible 42.7 mpg on hywy for us. With the high cost of gas these days, it is great to get this great mpg in our new car. Wonderful vehicle and people who see it live the color it is.
