Really love my Elantra!
This car is great! It was well-priced with lots of luxury features that aren't normally included in a mid-level car (I purchased the SEL). It has lots of safety features- lane assist, rear back-up cam, front brake assist, and blind spot detection to name a few. It has bluetooth/wireless connection as well as Apple CarPlay and the Galaxy version of CarPlay as well. I love the new design. Enough leg and head room for my tall husband. The gas mileage is great (this was a big factor with this purchase). BlueLink is great and I love having an app that can start the car, lock it, and tell me how many miles are on it and when I need service. It comes with 3 years of free bluelink, 5 years ( 60,000) miles warranty, and 10 years (100,000 miles) powertrain warranty, which is the best in cars that I saw.
A few drawbacks: The headlights are fairly dim. I was able to see at night, but they really need to be a lot brighter and I hope they fix this in the next model. There is a lot of hard plastic in the inside, which I don't really mind, but the steering wheel is made out of that material (at SE and SEL (without convenience package, which wasn't available where I bought at the time) levels) and I find it pretty uncomfortable. I was able to purchase a steering wheel cover, but I would have preferred it to be made of a different material so I didn't have to do that. It only has a 12.4 gallon gas tank (2020 and before had 14), so it would be nice if it had the bigger tank.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase- with just a few exceptions!
