Reliable and enjoyable vehicle so far...great fuel mileage. However has front end body design flaw in my opinion: no effective "bumper" provision results in certain damage from even slight bump of object. Front end will NOT clear most wheel stops, also resulting in damage. Front end should be sloped upward, or effective "bumper" provided.

Good quality car

I chose the elantra over a sonata due to the outward styling. I don't carry passengers so the back seat isn't important. I don't travel long distance to know how it would perform if i drove it all day.

Easy to steal

The car is great but the anti theft is horrible, my car was a victim on the recent theft trend and has caused more difficulty than it is worth. Until the known issue with how easily this car can be stolen is fixed the car is not with the headache.

Great acceleration nice fit and finish, very stylish and aggressive design stands out in a crowd of similar vehicles. Roomy midsize sedan feel for a compact sedan. Lots of rear seat leg room and large truck space.

A fun ride

I love the performance of this vehicle!! I hate that the remote start only lasts 10 minutes. The overall audio system could be louder with more bass. The mpg of the vehicle is excellent for as well as it performs.

Elantra SEL with a sporty package

Great performance car that responds to acceleration and brakes well. All the extra current assisted driving support, high gas mileage and look of the car is excellent. Happy to have made this purchase.

Good car for the money

I would buy this car again it’s been reliable and great gas mileage. A few things they need to fix is wind noise around the windows and acceleration of this car Also need cup holders in the back overall car is nice to drive .

Pretty great

Runs well overall great vehicle. Exterior styling is very much to my liking as well as the interior. The audio system is very good too. The color choice that I got was very much also apart of the design that I liked when considering to purchase this vehicle.

Best value for quality vs price

Best value for quality vs price. I’ve had 2 Sonatas before and they were quite reliable and without major issues. I like the midsized Hyundai models. I was looking for a “Venue” at first but I am glad I found this Elantra.

Great car but bad dealer service

Great car to own and as long as you know how to work on your own car or can trust someone to then go ahead and buy. I have been to a few dealers ships and one one is halfway decent. The dealerships just want your money no matter how they get it to include trying to have me play for a free oil change. Yea never when back there again then I found out they put the wrong oil weight in my engine. Yea like I said, great car born to the wrong car company in my opinion.

Other than a few minor nits, I really enjoy this car.

The Elantra is comfortable, generally quiet, and has numerous safety features. It is reasonably priced, and I get excellent gas mileage. I wish it had cup holders for the rear passengers. But it is quite roomy back there.

Fun and easy to drive! Nice design and aerodynamics. The acceleration and top end speed is definitely very surprising with a smooth ride. The electric blue color and Apple CarPlay integration are awesome!

My car

In my opinion, the car has a good looking style inside and out. A pretty good looking car for a mid to full-size vehicle. Price range was OK, but have problems with the dealership when I bring it in for routine scheduled maintenance. The sticker they place on the windshield says come back in 3000 miles, the customer service representative says 5000 miles and they program my car to return at 8000 miles. When I question why 8000 miles they said because you only get four oil changes in the three years you on your vehicle. Kind of confusing but that’s Koons , Of Woodbridge…

Elantra Limited best car value

The Hyundai Elantra Limited edition just keeps getting better and better each model year. I've been buying Elantras for 20 years and have never been disappointed with the comfort, economy, and reliability. Other than normal wear items, nothing on these cars breaks. For a one to for person household, it's the perfect blend of comfort and economy.

Excellent Budget Friendly Car

The Hyundai Elantra was my first car and it did not disappoint. It is stylish while also being very reliable. I believe all new Elantra trims come with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto which is typically a feature that you have to pay more for on many other makes and models. The car also handles extremely well and the MPG is one of the best in it's class. And while the car does look small on the outside, it's plenty roomy on the inside. I am around 6'5 and I had no issues with leg/foot room. As for a downside, the interior does contain a lot of plastic so the interior can seem a bit cheap compared to other similarly priced cars. However, as an expensive car, I can't think of a better car in this price range to get you from A to B while looking stylish and saving money on gas. I haven't experienced any issues so far but I also can rest easy knowing I'm backed by Hyundai's excellent warranty. If you're looking for something reliable and stylish, this is the car to buy.

Great car with great fuel efficiency and safety features

I love my car because it drives very smoothly, gives great mileage with each gas fill, and assists me in driving more safely on the road. I got this car after I totaled my previous one dozing off at the wheel. This car has given me more protection with all the safety features.

Gas, Oil and Tires

I bought this car when the gas prices spiked. With a long commute, I was solely interested in the mileage and initial cost. My expectations were not very high, this Elantra was literally 1/3 the price of the car I was using to commute. I have been very happy with it, it has done its job more than adequately. It came equipped with more features than the competitors I test drove. The acceleration from stop is nothing to brag about, but I am happily surprised by its performance at highway speeds (lane changes, etc). After the first year I have had no problems to report, it completely paid for itself in fuel savings. I have not needed to return to Hyundai for any warrantee service, only oil and tires.
