It's a great car for the money and so much fun to drive especially on the highway. The response and performance completely makes it exciting being behind the wheel. My son is starting to drive and also already loves driving it
I really love the length of the warrantee also. Being able to keep it properly maintained without breaking the wallet will keep it running great for years to come even after I pay it so I can hand a great car down to my son.

Good car for price
The value is good however the interior is lackluster. Cheap plastic lines the inside however if you’re driving, the display is very eye. catching and the car feels more sporty then it really is. The car is geared towards the driver. The passengers get very little in the way of convenience or comfort features.

Great value and stylish
Purchased a 2023 Hyundai Elantra in the SEL + Convenience Package trim. Very impressed with the value for the money. All of the latest tech features, large infotainment touch screen, adaptive cruise, heated front seats, Bluelink connectivity allows me to start the car from anywhere with my phone. Also, Hyundai Lane Keep Assist seems to be the nicest in the business after trying out several other manufacturers. In sport mode the car has all the acceleration you should need for every day driving. All of that plus 40+ MPG on the highway and a very stylish body makes for a very good deal around the 25k price range. Only cons are the stock headlights are halogen (I swapped the bulbs for LED the first week, very easy) and Apple Carplay/Android Auto is wired.

Good bang for the buck / Comfortable and affordable
I was involved in a major accident on the highway in my 1st Elantra 2023 SEL -- Me and my wife managed to survive this horrible experience and I firmly believe that the engineering and safety features in this car saved our lives. Furthermore, I trusted this car so much, that when the insurance company paid us out for the accident (wasn't our fault) I went back to Hyundai and purchased the exact same car. Need I say more -- Great car -- Affordable -- Has a lot of safety features -- At the end of the day I am very happy with my decision and hope Hyundai keeps up the great work.

Terrible experience owning this car!
The 2023 Hyundai Elantra is a very good looking vehicle. The looks on the exterior and interior are what convinced me to purchase this vehicle. However owning this vehicle was nothing but a nightmare. I drive a lot of miles. I had the vehicle for a little over 6 months and put a total of 19,500 miles on it. I was pristine on maintenance. I noticed that the engine was running rougher than normal and checked the oil dip stick, and there was NO OIL on the dip stick whatsoever! I filled it back up and contacted the dealership for service. The service manager told my service advisor to “start the process” I asked what was going on and was told that an oil consumption test was under process and then overheard the service employee talking with the service manager about how many engines were waiting to be replaced for the same issue I was having. That’s not everything either… when I hit around 9,000 miles the gas tank started making a loud thudding / ticking sound. I called Hyundai to schedule service. Once I brought the vehicle In the service tech went for a ride with me and I pointed out the obvious issue. He agreed that it was not normal whatsoever. They replaced a part in the gas tank, but that did not resolve the issue. I made another appointment and brought the vehicle back again. They had the vehicle for I think 2 days. I had paid for a rental car because I need a vehicle with the driving I do for work. They call me after the car was “ready” I was told by the service advisor that everything was completely normal and that the ticking inside of the fuel tank was normal. I was dumbfounded because they agreed it was a serious issue the first time I brought it in… Another issue I ran into was with the horn. The horn would randomly quit working. It was replaced 2 or 3 times. I would quickly need to use it in driving situations. It would randomly change tones and then would just die. My overall experience with Hyundai was a 0 out of 10. I spent a lot of money on an extended warranty, and ended up spending a lot of $ on rentals while my car was in service bc no loaners were allowed. I got sick always being at the service center with this car and traded it in for something else.

I have only good things to say about this car. From styling to quality and most important to the miles per gallon I'm getting. An unbelievable 42 to 48 mpg is outstanding for a vehicle that is not a hybrid or EV.
Coming from a 2019 Elantra SEL which i really liked, i really liked the updated safety features and wirelss carplay. Added legroom was also a plus. Overall the styling was very eyecatching and the blue color really popped.

Fun, sexy little car
I feel like a kid in this car. Looks great, awesome mileage. Feels like the future. I love the styling of the car and the intense blue paint. Great mileage was a must for me, and I average nearly 40 mpg. The sound system can't be beat. I love the big screen for navigation and integration with my phone.

It’s junk
Persistent rattle and vibration at idle. Dealership has been unable to properly diagnose after 4 attempts. IVT, sometimes it goes sometimes you’re just making noise. Owner’s manual states, oil consumption is normal. They know the engine has a problem/ poor build quality. We’re just not going to do anything.

It was painless, terrifying, mind you, but I pulled through. Now? I have something to be proud of, that I could afford and effectively operate--which is not easy to do when you're 6'6'' like me.
