Great styling, great mpg, frisky performance, but a few foibles hold this car back from being truly great
Amazing styling. This car is gorgeous in the N-line trim. It has brisk and frisky acceleration in Sport mode, and get great mileage in either mode. While it's built to a price point, it does have a LOT of features--remote start, CarPlay (wired), sunroof, heated, seats, etc., but once you see all that it has, it makes you wanting what it doesn't have -- from the simplest of things (rear seat console vents and USB ports), to the very low quality plastic door panels that scuff and scrape if you merely think about it, to the lack of cooled seats (why not?!?), reallllllllllllllllly soft brakes with absolutely zero confidence in stopping power. It feels a bit tinny, and has plenty of road noise due to lack of considerable sound insulation, but is a roomy vehicle and performs its' mission wellm, ultimately. It's a really good car, but leaves one wondering why Hyundai didn't make take the few extra steps to make it truly great.
