Only one complaint. The car seems to slide when the TCS is engaged on wet or snow covered highway.

Like Father Like Son

I visited my adult son to help with recover from shoulder surgery. While driving him to PT he commented on how much he liked my vehicle. I told him that there would be a all wheel drive model . Well as soon as he was able, he traded in his high end sports convertible for a all wheel drive sedan and has loved it as mush as I love my 2009 model.

I love my hyundai.

My wife and I love our Hyundai Genesis, smooth and comfortable ride. Great gas mileage on the freeway. Overall great car with all the bells and whistles, without costing an arm or a leg. So happy we also bought a 2013 Genesis Coupe.

LOVE MY GENESIS

I have owned my 2009 Genesis for 6 years. I had a few problems while under warranty that Cavenaugh Hyundai fixed with no additional problem. I selected this car because of its' overall comfort.. Over the years I have been impressed with the Genesis power and ease of driving. My only concern is that I may not be able to afford a new one.

The best vaklue in a luxury sedan in the market

I am a car guy and always have been. I have been very happy with my purchase of my 2009 4.6 tech package Genesis from the beginning. It is dollar for dollar the best vehicle I have ever owned and that includes Mercedes, Cadillacs, Buicks, Zs, Scorpions, Saab Turbos and so on.

2009 Genisis

Broken valve at 92,000 miles froze the engine. Two used engines and a month later I had my car back. Recently the catalytic converter went bad and now if I leave my car sitting for more than two days it won't start. It's become a mystery issue but it's an ongoing problem.

Love my Genesis

Can't really complain about anything. I have been very pleased with this vehicle and the service that backs it up. Yes, there have been some minor issues, but way less than on my other cars that I have owned. For the price, I feel like I am on par with BMW and Mercedes

Class and excellence in an affordable sedan

Probably one of the best if not the best ride and comfort at a reasonable price. Fuel economy is also very good for a V6 sedan with seat of your pants acceleration when needed. My first Hyundai but the more I drove it the more impressed I became. Multiple compliments on the appearance even after five years. I changed the body badges and wheel center covers to the "Genesis" name and constantly had questions as to where you can get one. I have owned and driven several "high end" vehicles over the years but my 2009 Hyundai Genesis is very comparable without the "high end" price. Only wish Hyundai made trucks. LOL

Happy Owner

This is my second Hyundai car and I traded my Jaguar XJS for the first Hyundai XG, years later a saw the Genesis and fell in love with it. I told my wife that I will keep this car forever unless........Hyundai can make obvious and profound improvements in the technology department (heads up display, interior/exterior design, mileage, etc.). I am retired so I look for creature comforts.

I don't know what this means

I wish my Genesis had all season tires on it when I bought it the tires are very high in price for snow tires, Love my Genesis BUT not good in the Winter Months.

LOVE my Genesis

Purchased this car in 2010 no regrets. This car has only ever required basic maintenence and I believe two factory recalls. People still come up close behind me to see what kind of car it is. Handels nicely on road in all seasons. Love the navigation the Lexacon stereo the heatedcand cooled seats. So many comforts in this car I still haven't used them all esp the aux options. The interior is so comfortable the seats just cradle you. Love this car!

My rating of this car

The Genesis is a wonderful car and driving experience. This particular vehicle "2009 car of the year" I believe? is not quite and I have not seen one other Genesis on the road since my purchase 1 1/4 yrs ago? The trunk upon opening, when it rains is terrible with the drippings into trunk and actually ruined CD's that were there! The viewing from side windows and rear are horrible, not at all clear and makes me a bit anxious when backing up. The side mirror and the separation bar create a problem when going off exit and then turning left and I have to lean forward or back. I cannot judge the front end as well as my previous Volvo, so easy to navigate! OK, so I am enjoying this vehicle & suppose I should feel unique with possibly being the only one on the highway?!?

Love this car!

I bought it new in 2009 and it's been a champ, given me no problems and it looks almost as good as new. I love how it drives, lots of luxury, very quiet and the value of a Genesis is incomparable to other vehicles.
