Good car... horrible value

The 2013 Genesis is a good car I haven't had any mechanical problems with the vehicle yet, it's roomie and it rides great. With that being said, I bought the vehicle a little over a year ago for 20,000 dollars, I looked the value of the vehicle up on KBB an it says the vehicle is only worth 9800 now, mind you I've only had the vehicle for a year, it's in the extact condition as it was when I bought it but now it has 15000 more miles. If I was to ever buy another Genesis i would have to get an extremely good deal, due to the fact I know it doesn't hold its value.

A Great driving Machine!

I never thought I would enjoy driving another car other than a Lexus, and then I took my Genesis for a test drive, and WOW! Needless to say I am now a proud Genesis owner!

Hyundai Genesis R-Spec

The car is very good. I replaced a Lexus LS with this car. Please don't take this the wrong way, but the Hyundai is not quite a Lexus. I replaced the Continental Tires with Michelin Tires and (even though I gave up some of the top end speed) it much improved the ride for me. If the goal is to equal Lexus, I believe that the goal is within sight of the Genesis division. I worked as a contractor for Hyundai in Korea and know that they are good at setting goals and good at reaching those goals.

Awesome, Best Car ever owned

Wish I had 2 of them... I've had 2 Mercedes, 1 Porsche and 1 Infiniti. Won't give up my 2013 Genesis 429hp, V8, RTEC.

2013 genesis

I've only had vehicle for 3 weeks but so far It is a good car choice. Rides beautiful and very roomy. it's a luxury car while looking sporty at the same time.

30k miles, excellent engineering and roadworthiness

Otherwise excellent car downgraded for sooty engine exhaust, execrable GPS ($150+ per update versus $150 Garmin portable with beanbag dashtop and free lifetime updates is far superior (includes speed limits)--I'm using infinitely superior Google Maps on Galaxy 6 attached to windshield as primary--but without Garmin speed limits), and dealer indifference to my problems with these two features (He gave me telephone number for Hyundai USA regarding GPS, and says sooty exhaust can't be fixed).

I have in the past and continue to own several premium vehicles. My Genesis equally compares to Mercedes, Porsche and Land Rover. It is truly a luxury vehicle and I am very satisfied. I have recommended this model to my family and friends.

Great drive!

I really enjoy the comfortable cabin and smooth drive. It has a few issues with acceleration and it sometimes reacts sluggishly. However, overall it’s a good car and reasonably priced for a luxury model. I also like the roomy cabin that comfortably seats 4 to 5 adults. The trunk space is large. Very satisfied.

Genesis

The Genesis is the best car on the road. It deliverers great highway mileage for a four door. Quite ride, even better than my brother-in-law's new Lexus. The back seat ride is more comfortable than my sister's BMW. I've been to dealerships in three states (Arkansas, Texas and Missouri) and the service gets an A+. I've been to three dealerships in the Dallas area ( McKinney, Plano and Carrollton) and again the service gets an A+. That's probably why I have purchased four Hyundai's. Plus, they never break down and leave you stranded for no reason at all. Thank you, Henry Lee Toliver Jr

Love my Hyundai Genesis!

I have a 2013 Black Hyundai Genesis and just love the ride. My passengers like the ride as well. It's a solid car and has all the bell and whistles of the luxury car that it is. My next car will be a brand new one!

My Review

Have enjoyed my 2013 Genesis from day one. It is a solidly built vehicle, which I like! The only drawback is that it is not a front-wheel drive. I very much dislike the driveshaft going thru the back seat! That feature will cause me to check different companies before purchasing my next car.

The best car I've ever driven!

I just love my 2013 Hyundai Genesis. I bought the car new in 2013. It was one of the best buying decisions I could have made. This car drives like a dream. On long road trips, I am not tired when I reach my destination. I love the comfort of the seats and the entertainment amenities such as the Sirius XM satellite radio and the i Pod integration into the sound system. It also has a CD player which I like because I still play them. The 2013 Genesis also has great truck space. The only negative is the miles/gallon of gas. It's only about 18 mpg in town but great for long distance driving. I've gotten as high as 30 mpg. I'm anticipating buying my next model.
