A blast to drive and great range

We absolutely LOVE our new Kona EV. It is so much fun to drive. My wife and I fight over who gets to drive it. The ride is smooth, but the acceleration is pulse-quickening. The range is excellent. The entertainment system is easy to use and sounds great. Lot's of great safety features, too. It is a sharp looking car. We always get asked about it by strangers in the parking lot.

Kona EV

Overall I do like the vehicle. I wish it had more interior leg room for the rear seats though. And I wish the interior surfaces were nicer to the touch. Feels pretty brittle with all of the plastic surfaces.

After 2 weeks of buying a brand new car it broke

After 1000 miles and 3 weeks of buying a new Kona electric , I had to take it for repair of the electric system , lots of resistance to provide a loaner ( due to covid ), it is almost a week and still did not hear from the dealer , I called once , they don’t know what is wrong yet. Don’t buy Hyundai ! I thought they are reliable cars, but I regret it.
