Not quite a car not quite a truck not quite what sure what it is but it rides nice.

But a two inch lift kit on my santa cruz hyundai lost a little bit of gas mileage and not a big deal but two sides bigger tires All terrain BF Goodrich love the car truck whatever it is. truct really loves to get off road. I get a lot of looks overall very very good vehicle

I love this truck. It’s easy to drive and operate. The style is great. The interior is nice and comfortable. I would recommend this vehicle. My experience with Hyundais have always been above and beyond.

Love my 2022 Santa Cruz, But...

I really love my new 2022 Santa Cruz Limited, BUT two Recalls (Auto-Transmission and Tow Hitch) have me a bit concerned, especially the transmission - thus only a 4-star rating. Vehicle is very stylistic and performs very well - better than expected. Highway mileage is definitely decent but would like it if city mileage were a bit better. Limited model has quite a few very helpful and neat standard features, basically justifying the $40K price tag. All-in-all, I like driving it and often get a lot of compliments on the styling - and questions asking "What is it?" Hopefully the Transmission Recall fix really takes care of the transmission issue, thus justifying the quality and reliability ratings I gave below..

Garvey Hyundai provides exceptional sales and service experiences!

The Santa Cruz is a versatile and fun vehicle. If you need a full size truck, this is not the vehicle for you, but if you need passenger space and haul smaller item’s occasionally, you’d love this small truck. The ride and handling responsiveness are exceptional. Fuel mileage is great, the ride is amazingly quiet. I can’t say enough about this vehicle! Not to mention Hyundai offers the best warranty in the industry!

Over all speaking the vehicle is great. Great lighting, great handling, easy to get in and out off. It looks good both interior and exterior. I just wish that it had about three more features that I like.

Love vehicle light weight pickup

The only dislikes is that there’s no indicator light to let you know the tailgate is not closed. I have cover for the bed for some reason I thought it would keep it dry when it rains but it do not.. overall I love my truck

Santa Cruz - first year production

Great vehicle. It needs more refining. Backup lights are not bright enough; warning alarms for parking, you have the camera but you still cannot tell how close you are to an object; water leaking in bed is terrible you cannot keep anything in it, the Tonneau cover should do more than look good.

Exactly what I was looking for, exceeded my expectations! It's so fun to drive, I also enjoy all the positive comments I recieve places I go. It sure is a head turner. Especially for me, I find myself glancing back at it a few times as I walk away haha

Very solid first attempt but not perfect

I have the limited and have been satisfied over the last year with it. Great blend of truck and non truck aspects. But Hyundai, PLEASE stop calling this thing an "adventure" vehicle. Styling while subjective is great and the performance with the turbo is fantastic. The tech all works perfectly and it comes with quite a bit. Gas mileage hasn't been that good so really wished they offered a hybrid or PHEV. Still waiting on my tow harness. So, I went and bought an aftermarket one. Terrible oversight. Which leads to my grips, with Hyundai being something newer to the truck game, there is a few items like the loss of bed space to the bed cover that don't quite hit the mark. Overall would recommend.

I love my Santa Cruz: Right choice for me.

The car is totally different from anything on the road today and I love that uniqueness of that. It standsout and is a great conversation starter. I love what Hyundai did with this vehicle. Looking forward to seeing the next Santa Cruz

Sweet ride

I always loved driving a Hyundai and was happy when they introduced this pickup version. It rides nicely and love the styling, not boxy like its Ford counterpart. It's comfortable like an SUV and love the color.

Best vehicle I have ever owned... I just wish the button for the all wheel drive was in a different spot, it is to easy to activate without knowing. Other than that I really don't have any other issues...

Great vehicle except for the transmission problem (which is huge).

We love everything about our SC except for the transmission problem (recall #236). It’s fun to drive and has plenty of pep due to turbo engine. If it wasn’t for the recall #236, we would rate it 5. My wife will not drive the SC bc she’s afraid it will quit running and not be able to get off of highway.

The best little truck I have ever owned.

I have driven this truck/sport adventure vehicle, from coast to coast and its very versatile, fun and easy to drive. I have had my Santa Cruz for over a year, and I still looked forward to driving every time I get in it. The amount of technology that is included in the limited trim is unmatched by similar vehicles in its class.

Modern looking, competitive pricing,, needs GPS standard on truck, would like to have dash cam standard (both front and rear) as standard. Came with 3 year oil change, etc. Which was a good selling point.

Best purchase

Had the Santa Cruz for a year now and I love it. We are a shorter height family so it’s definitely roomy for us. But most complaints from friends and family who are taller, is that it’s not very roomy. But overall a great, safe and fun ride. Better than expected gas mileage. I drive mostly on freeway and get 33-36 mpg highway and 20-22 mpg in town. You can’t beat the warranty and so far Hyundai services have been an ease for oil changes and the two recent recalls. Most comments I get is how cool the headlights are. I get a lot people stopping to look at my Santa Cruz. It’s definitely a head turner in traffic because of the unique style.
