A Do-all Vehicle

When this vehicle first appeared on the market, demand for it was immediate and strong. I had to put down a deposit and wait for a vehicle to be delivered to the dealer. It was worth the wait. My new Santa Cruz replaced my commuter vehicle AND a our worn-out family pickup truck--such is its versatility. It surprises everyone when I tell them that I can transport 4x8 sheets of plywood in so compact a truck. My son also drives the vehicle and says that he likes the numerous features plus the way the vehicle drives in the snow.

Great all around vehicle

Generally a great vehicle, with very good versatile hauling and towing capacity. Could use more upscale features for the price. Memory seats and passenger electric seat. Better instant acceleration, is Ted of dangerous turbo stall. Love the auto driving and safety features, but they should default to being always on, not off! More service centers closer to where I live.

Great Utility and Weekend Warrior

This truck is a great fit for folks who need a truck for weekend errands (e.g. mulch; fit 25 bags), goodwill runs, small furniture purchases - 95% of the typical activities it handles with ease. It is fun to drive (recommend the turbo option) and get decent gas mileage (19 city; 25 highway). I've used it for kayaking, small boat towing, bike racks (5 bikes), half a ton of landscaping pebbles with zero issues - I have to remind myself to check as you don't feel the load in most conditions. I get a lot positive comments and questions driving around. The truck is well thought through and everything feels very refined like it's a 2nd or 3rd generation vehicle. Parking and drive throughs are a dream for a truck - I use the 360 cameras every time. Overall, a great vehicle that will meet most of your needs without sacrificing on fuel and larger truck prices.

Love my Santa Cruz

The style and curve are far better than any other of this size. The color was the color I wanted. The height is perfect tires and rim are just the right size. The options that came with the vehicle are great. Not that I use them but it is nice to have them if needed.

Left me stranded and still having issues

I may have just gotten a lemon, but 9 days after I bought it, I was stranded on the side of the road with radiator issues. 18 days later, i was stranded in downtown New Orleans with radiator issues. The vehicle stalls out when i am driving it. Also, sometimes when i give it gas, the RPM's rev up but the vehicle absolutely does not accelerate.

Vehicle was great. Support was not.

Our transmission failed before 40,000 miles. It took two months to get it replaced. We were not given a loaner or a rental. It was ridiculous to pay so much for a vehicle then have it out of service for two months

four and one half stars and still loving it

this vehicle is fun to drive and reminds me the sportiness my 1972 Mercury Capri that I bought when I came home from Viet Nam but that is where the similarity ends... This truck usually gets a question or asked of me and I don't mind being an unpaid spokesperson for Hyundai. I learned about the SantaCruz from Utube if there were some commercials showing this truck you'd sell/see many more on the road

Very satisfied

Only problem I thought it had was hesitation from stop sign. Turned out the problem was using my left foot to break. After much complaining the problem turned out to be mine. It was somewhat hard to except.

Everything's great except When you accidentally press down on part of the key, the windows roll down completely unnecessary should be disconnected

Love my vehicle. The only thing I do not like about it is sometimes I'll come out. And the windows will be rolled down all by themselves. Completely stupid option should be disconnected and discontinued.

It's overall a really good truck for it size. But wish it would have more leg room in the back. Overall more rear space. Not reliable if you have more than one baby car seat. So I would say overall not cat seat friendly. Really small space

Great Car

I purchased this when it first came out in October 2021 and absolutely love it. The styling is nice the ride is comfortable albeit a little small. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who doesn’t exactly like trucks but wants a crossover suv kind of ride.

Love my Santa Cruz

My Santa Cruz meets all the expectations I had when purchasing it. You can carry 4 adults comfortably 5 if necessary. You also have a small bed to haul things you don’t want in your vehicle interior. Love my Santa Cruz.

Love it. Too bad the transmission failed at 19k

I love my Santa Cruz. It handles well and is so comfortable. The back seat could be bigger. I would have given it 5 stars, however the transmission failed at 19k miles and had to be replaced. I have the limited edition with the DCT.

Overall great vehicle.

I have had no issues with my Santa Cruz and I've owned this vehicle for two years now. The only maintenance has been regularly scheduled maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations etc. The Santa Cruz performs well and is great to drive. I'd buy another one if I ever needed to replace my car.

I love the truck

The truck is great, the 2 dealerships I have dealt with I strongly suggest you don’t go to them . Merlin Hyundai in Rocky Mount NC crooks and Weimer Hyundai of Morgantown WV will try to tell you your oil needs changed every 1500 miles and when confronted with the 8000 mile oil change per the manual, the manager said the service manager didn’t know any better

From the day I first saw it, I fell in love with it!

This has been a great vehicle for me. I love the looks, & everything about it. It is for pleasure, not work. I wish it had a tonneau cover, so I wouldn't worry about traveling, & things getting wet. I live in Arizona, & my sister & I went to Texas. It was a great trip.

Fun to drive and it cn haul

A fun, practical and reliable vehicle to drive and it looks great. It has a good compromise between fuel economy and performance. Driving on the interstate in the mountains, I didn't have any problems keeping up with traffic. Be prepared to have onlookers ask you questions about the vehicle and "put up" with admiring glances.

Great Styling and performance . Comfortable, and great traction control and pulls a 5000 Lb Trailer vey well. Gas mileage is a little on the disappointing side. Takes a little to get used to Dual Clutch transmission. Love the CARUCK. Its great safety features work well.
