I Love My Santa Cruz!

It was love at first sight! We love the technology and driving experience. Long trips are comfortable and the driving aids keeps us safe. We are complemented constantly on the Santa Cruz’s appearance, even after a year of ownership.

Good Truck!

Just the right size for what I needed. Good performance and gas milage. Great to drive and response on the corners. The truck looks great and people are always asking me what it is and who makes it. Rides very smooth.

Great Handy car/truck

Great car/ truck, haven't had any problems yet. Wished I had got a higher trim level bit no trucks were out yet. This one was still sitting on trailer. Had to travel over 100 miles to find this one which is a SEL with activity package.

Not living up to my expectations of purchasing a brand new vehicle. Did not expect to have multiple issues within the first 2-3 months of owning.

Multiple engine issues within the first 2-3 months of owning, before I even reached 1,500 miles. My brand new $42,000 car spend almost a month total in the shop in the first couple months of owning and dealership never figured out what the issue was so I may very well break down again anywhere.

Credit Fix

I started the year with a bad credit score, lingering debts and derogatory record which affected my ability to finance a new home, including a new car. I tried a few credit restoration firms but all were abortive until I saw a post about HACK VANISH CREDIT SPECIALIST. Unique looking vehicle. Fun to drive

The Santa Cruz has a unique look, turns heads and people always ask..What is that? The options I wanted would have been another 10,000. Seems like a big jump in price to get a tonneau cover and the turbo option.

Good stylish compact vehicle

Am pleased with this Hyundai Santa Cruz. Looks great (it turns people's heads) & it handles good on the road. Is just the right size & easy to park . Gas mileage is average to others. Only issue was the price- they are expensive.

I love this truck!

This a small but functional pickup truck that handles like a car. The styling is eye catching and the fuel economy is surprisingly good for a vehicle of this size. I am 6’2” and find this a comfortable ride for long drives.

The Santa Cruz is a great Vehicle. Need to have more safety options available in the Night Model, especially technology so the speed limit sign is displayed on the screen. The gasket material used between the cover and body needs to be of better quality,

The Cruz

I have put 30,000 mile on My Santa Cruz, and have had not a problem with it. I have hooked the trailer up and drug up to 1800 lbs on it and the truck had on problems pulling it down the road, and still got 24 - 27 mile per gallon. I've taken it to the beach to go fishing, and if you get a small pump you can use the bed trunk as a live well. Over all great little truck can't wait for when a full size one comes out.

Love this zippy little truck. The turbo gives it the get up and go. It is sleek and super stylish. Is a real head turner. The back seats are kinda small for passengers but who needs passengers 😉 it's all about the comfort of the driver

Great vehicle

Love the styling, comfort and handling of the Santa Cruz. Very quick, rides very well and has plenty of storage. Currently averaging 30 mpg with a combination of city and highway driving. Bed is large enough to carry most items you need to haul and the bed cover is lockable.

Purchased this vehile to carry mobiliy scooters, one in bed and one on a lift hooked on back.

I love my Santa Cruz. 3 months after purchse drove to Kansas City, MO from Las Vegas, NV with only 600 miles on it. Had scooter in bed with luggage and lugage in back seat and electric scooter on a lift attached on the trailer hitch. 10 days traveing through sun, wind and heavey rain. very comfortable for us ( both 77 years old ) Most of the time cruise control set at 75mph and overal gas mileage 23.5mpg.

No regrets!

Was looking for a vehicle that would allow me some hauling space for basic household chores, but most importantly could handle the occasional challenging road conditions during the winter. This is one of the most stable vehicles I have driven on icy roads, and I did not chain up once this past winter. Comfortable ride and extreme peace of mind!

Great purchasing experience

Purchased when new vehicles were difficult to find but my Santa Cruz was sold at the sticker price, while other vehicles I considered were only being offered for sale (when finally available) at 30% over sticker price. What a scam, so I won't consider a Ford in the future! The agent I dealt with was pleasant, professional and accommodating. I've owned a Hyundai in the past and was pleased with the quality.

No help from Hyundai on issues

Vehicle is good as a daily driver which is why I purchased. Needed something alittle higher off the ground. My previous vehicle had gotten to uncomfortable getting in and out due to the height of the vehicle.

Was hoping for better...

The engine issues really hurt my views of the Santa Cruz. A car this new should not have engine troubles. I like the uniqueness of it. Good comfortable ride. But, it all boils down to whether I can trust the vehicle. After this latest issue of oil in my air filter...how can I?
