Not for everyone, but for those it IS for, it's perfect.
This is a perfect car for someone who, from time to time, needs to really use their SUV to haul things other than people. I replaced an older Toyota Landcruiser, a great SUV, with this vehicle and I've already used it much more for day to day tasks than I did the Landcruiser.
It's rugged, but, refined as well. No, it's not a Landcruiser (nothing's really close), but it's doing a great job of replacing it.
When I need to transport something quickly and simply, there is no better vehicle out there. I can also comfortably move people with it (although the back seats only really have 'kid sized' leg room, so, no long trips with 4 adults).
The fit and finish, so far, seems great. It feels smooth and drives nicely. Not too rough, not to soft. They really did hit a sweet spot (at least for me).
My only issues are: needs more USB ports. There are only a couple, and they're USB A (not C). The engine on the lower end models isn't super peppy (191HP), but, it's a tried and true engine that should last a long time, so I'm good with it.
The MSRP is a little overpriced right now, but I paid about 3K under MSRP, so I'm good with it.
