Having a great time in our new Santa Fe.
We picked up our new Santa Fe after dark in a nasty snow storm in February, and I drove it home. Driving is so much more pleasant in June! In snow, rain and nice weather, the Santa Fe handles nicely. It hugs the road very well, and our country roads in the Catskill Mountains are a good test for traction and handling. The carrying capacity is excellent. We're a retired couple with lots of projects and I'm constantly picking up large or long materials on my day in town. We are driving out West for six weeks later this year, which is why we wanted to replace our much-loved and faithful 13-year-old Camry. It took the Santa Fe to move us away from Toyota after 45 years of owning various Toyotas. It helped our decision to know that our long-time mechanic recommeneded it, based on his wife's 4-year old Santa Fe. It just feels good, fits right and drives well. It took some time to learn to use all the features, and I'm loving them, especially the backup camera. We're looking forward to many adventures and many years with our Santa Fe.
