Gas Guzzler

I am used to a Ford I guess. I don't like how the Bluelink is separate and you have to pay for that service as a navigation system and to automatic start your car. The Sante Fe is not good on gas either. I fill up at least twice a week. Strongly considering on purchasing a smaller car for my daily commute to work and letting this be my weekend car.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate

Overall great vehicle. Has plenty of room for longer trips with several people, but at the same time is not too big for daily driving in heavy traffic. The exterior and interior are very nice. I also appreciate the ease of movement of all the seats, which makes it easy to vacuum below and around them. The panoramic roof is awesome and envied by our friends and family. Would purchase the same vehicle tomorrow, and have recommended Santa Fe's to others.

Windows

Highly upset with it, a lot of air comes In through the windows. In the winter the windows have literally frost ice in the inside. You can actually feel air coming through and the windows are closed.

Love

I love the way my car drives and ride whether in traffic or on the freeway. It has the extra turbo engine when needed and the safety alerts have provided the prevention of accidents. I use my backup camera everyday.

Leg Room and interiorcolor

I love my Santa Fe Sport, except for the driver’s leg room. Additional leg room for the driver is desperately needed. Also, the seats are to light. Darker color seats should be optional. Lighter colors tend to show dirt and somtimes unable to clean.

Pretty but overpriced and poor quality

The seats do not have arm rests. The Accelerator is not positioned very well, when my foot is on the gas pedal I can't rest my heel on the floor, so my foot and leg cramps after a while. I purchased this car brand new 9 months ago and the exterior paint is already chipped in some places. When the car is in reverse, the brakes grind. When I speed up to pass a car, the engine sounds like a race car. It advertises 19 MPG city and 24 MPG highway. In city driving I am averaging 14 to 15 MPG. I previously owned a Chevy Tahoe and it got the same gas mileage as my Santa Fe and it was a V8. For the money I paid for this vehicle, I wish I would have gone ahead with another Chevrolet. I went with the Santa Fe because I do love the body style and it has the 60,000 mile warranty. When I buy a new car I like to feel like I love it so much I can't stay out of it. With the Santa Fe, I like it okay but I do not love it. I have only had it 9 months so I can't really testify to it's reliability, but so far it's good. I do love the body style, it's sporty looking for a SUV. Had I only paid about $24,000 for the vehicle then I guess I would be closer to saying I love it, but as of now I can only say it's okay.

SANTA FE FOR WORK USED IN WISCONSIN AND MINNESOTA AREA.

CAR HANDLES WELL IN ALL COINDITIONS. EXTREMELY POWERFUL FOR SOMETHING THIS SIZE. DEFINATELY LOOKING AT THE FUTURE FOR GETTING A NEWER MODEL. THE FRONT PROFILE IS NOT BOXY LIKE OTHER CARS OF THIS SIZE. THE SIDE PROFILE COULD USE SOME UPDATES TO ADD A LITTLE MORE STYLE.

Impeccable road manners. Whether it is a short run to the supermarket or a short trip to the mall, the drive is without irritations, the kind that once would have solicited the "should've bought more power, or should've opted for other amenities or I could've done better.

Nearly perfect vehicle.

Love this vehicle. Owned 2013, then traded it for an identical 2017 just to get the additional features (backup camera, improved ergonomics). Good gas mileage. Good handling. Great performance. Both cars are the only vehicles I have ever bought that have been flawless and remained that way throughout ownership. My only complaint is that the overhead sunglass bin likes to dump the contents when I open it.

Very satisfied with the reliability and comfortable ride. Ample interior space with straightforward dashboard system. On both vehicles I had to install a hitch. This should be an option for Hyundai installation on future models.

So far so good

Bought the car two years ago. 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe limited ultra. No problems with any mechanicals. Very comfortable to drive on long trips. Navigation system easy to use. Loads of storage with back seats down. Wish it had dynamic headlights, emergency stopping and automatic cruise distance control. Optional internet, blue link and remote starting way overpriced. Should be standard in this model Third row seats ok for people up to age of 10 years old.

Buy or lease a new one???

We love our 2017 SantaFe! That’s the problem. We’re trying to decide whether to buy out our lease or buy or lease a new one with the latest bells and whistles! We’ve driven the new ones, which are awesome, but we have 2 months and 7k miles left on our lease. Then we’ll decide which Hyundai we’ll be driving next!

Santa Fe Ultimate

The Santa Fe Ultimate I purchased in 2017 replaced a 2014 Lexus LS460. The Santa Fe Ultimate ride is nearly the equivalent in smoothness and quietness. Perhaps the surroundings are not quite as luxurious as the LS460 but the ride, economy, ease of operation, safety features, and appearance make the Ultimate a great value.

Great Car, Great Value

I had my 2017 Hyundai Santa for about a year and this vehicle never cease to amaze me. It has a standard, economy and sport mode of travel which contributes to its fuel efficiency. The Apple Car Play is a great attribute to the car for it takes all of my capabilities of my phone and integrates it into my dashboard and entertainment deck. This car is most definitely worth the wait and is a great investment. My family loves it!
