Better than expected.

I did a 4,0 mile trip recently and got a 70.6 MPG rating. This is not the 1st time that happened. Previously, I had a 14 mile trip and got 70.2 MPG. Shortly there after, I took and 10 mile trip and got a 66.8 MPG. Average in town - 35.9 MPG; highway - 46.7 MPG. And I do have a lead foot and the vehicle's response is fantastic.

Surprised by "Get up and go"

Love the color, and the est. 50 mpg. Other than the color, safety features, and the sweet and sporty ride, unbelievably, the thing that put the icing on the cake was the pull up shade for the passenger windows. Driving in ECO mode, we were very surprised with the "get up and go" it had from a complete stop. Absolutely blown away with this car.

2017 sonata

I love this vehicle! First new car I've ever purchased. Infotainment is pretty seamless. Styling is up to par with my expectation of all the 2017 models. I've been averaging 34mpg per tank and it's a good combination of city and highway. Mostly highway tho.

Efficiency and style...

This is my fifth Hyundai and I continue to be more pleased with each one. I love the comfort and roominess. It has the largest trunk in the Hybrid class as well. Some of the new features that I love are the cooled seats, memory seats, lane departure warning and the adaptive cruise control. It already saved me from a bad accident on the PA. Turnpike by bringing the car from 75MPH to 40MPH and then to 0MPH. The "Blue Pearl" leather seats continue to draw compliments. The automatic opening trunk, lighted door handles at night and the huge sunroof continue to impress. All this and 40MPG!

Incredible car for the money

It is an awesome car-smooth, slick and elegant

I love the car. I get consistently between 41.5 to 45 MPG i.e. about 43 MPG on an average for such a wonderfully sized car. It really has a pickup similar to a six cylinder Camry or Accord and the ride is smooth. My next car when I replace my 20 years old family van (Sienna) is going to be a SUV from Hyundai!! The only and not in a big way negative that I found out later was that it lacks a spare wheel and the reason they give is to save space in the trunk that has the hybrid battery. I wish they had sneaked in a small spare wheel somewhere which would have given me more comfort going to the mountains with the family or driving to LA from San Fran.

Outstanding Hybrid Vehicle

We love our Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Excellent comfort and reliability. No noise whatsoever when gas engine kicks in, smooth transmission shifting. Very high-tech dash and graphics, easy to use controls. Terrific styling, inside and out. Mileage is great for a hybrid of this size The battery warranty is covered 100% for as long as you own the vehicle and that alone should help a buyer make up their and choose the Sonata Hybrid.
