Disappointed
I was excited about buying my first hybrid vehicle, but that has changed to major disappointment. I’m not naive enough to believe the gas mileage shown on the sticker (48/48), but did expect to get in the high thirties to low forties range. Instead, I rarely get above 30 mpg. I’m a safe, conservative driver. I don’t try to go to extremes with speed, braking, etc., so I expected much better mileage.
I love the car, itself. It’s a nice looking car - modern, sleek, sporty,
comfortable inside, and fun to drive, but if I was satisfied getting so-so mileage, I could have saved some money and bought a non-hybrid.
