Porsche 911 Carrera S - best car I've ever owned

I purchased my 2013 Carrera S with 7 speed manual in April of 2020 with 31,000 miles on it. I now have 69,500 and it has been extremely reliable, excellent fit/finish with quality parts and accessories. The extra bonus is being a blast to drive and yet comfortable. Comfortable, but's it's not a luxury car, so the ride is stiff, but not harsh. I have tracked it at Road America 6 times and it hasn't fazed the car in the least. At 130mph you can drive it with 1 hand and it feels as stable and planted as most cars at 60mph. The only negatives is that cost of maintenance; oil changes, tires, brakes, etc. are all expensive. But it hasn't required any more service than our Infinity or Yukon. If you can afford it and are considering one - do not walk, run to your nearest dealer and pick one up. You won't be disappointed!!

It puts a smile on my face every time I drive the car!

Porsche's are the best cars for me. They are so much fun, it's my daily driver! This 911 was a birthday present to me! Every generation of the 911 has become more and more sophisticated and capable. This is the third and best 911 I've ever had! My first Porsche was a 911S in 1972. My current Porsche is 40 years newer and while nothing about the two cars is the same, the joy I feel driving my car, whether on a daily commute in urban LA or a Sunday morning drive up the coast to Malibu, the experience is the same, just plain wonderful. "There Is No Substitute!"

2013 Porsche 991.1

Aside from the flowing curves, knowing you can turn on the dime, and being nimble due to the rear engine make this car a true joy to drive. Since owning the 911, I have changed the headers to sport ones, and installed a new X-pipe exhaust, which have made the driving experience even more enjoyable!

Great car

This car is amazing. It is fully loaded, beautiful and doesn’t disappoint. Can’t say enough about this car. This is my second Porsche, my previous was a targa. I was hesitant about buying a convertible, but the operation of it is seamless.

My 911 changed my life

I love my car, not because I get all the cool mechanical and design things about it, but because I love to drive it! I have been driving for 50 years and this is the first sports car I have ever owned, and I will never go back.

911 madness

Great vehicle no matter if its on the track or cruising through the hills. Never have had a problem with the car since it was new. Wife and kids use it and love it. Great value for the money.
