Best reliabiltiy and best road noise insulation for the money
In addition to best reliability (after Lexus) and very quiet ride this car had one of the widest rear seats among all midsize sedans I tried. My family loves it, a few times we needed to fit three people in the back and Camry is very good at that. At least among the inexpensive midsize sedans. I compared it to 2013 Nissan Altima and 2013 Mazda 6. Mazda was too sporty, noisy and harsh to my taste and its rear seat was too narrow. Nissan was much better but still not as quiet as I wanted and rear seat was not as wide as I wanted. Camry hit the nail on the head on all these - most quiet and reliable after Lexus and rear seat wideness was better than everything else in the same class and price bracket. Also I needed a car that would be low enough and very stable for a high speed highway ride. This Camry is an excellent high speed ride on a highway, I hit 100 MPH and it hugs the road, fells very low, almost like a race car, very stable, most comfortable $20k car to travel high speed in the US in my opinion. Highly recommended for people who hate going to service (my 15-year old Toyota Echo 2000 never required any service besides oil change and still runs like new), who want quiet car, who want to go highway FAST (100 MPH) while being low, road-huggy and stable, and who occasionally need three adults in the back seat.
