Took my vehicle in for an exhaust leak, after checking the vehicle out, I was informed of what was wr
ong. Mechanic told me that no one has the part and it would be $1000 from the dealer. He offered to us a generic part and do some welding for $200!!! My car is now running quiet!!

I broke down mid road trip in little ol’ Christiansburg VA. I was worried about finding an honest mec
hanic in a town I had never been to especially because I had no time to do research. Modern Automotive was the first place that came up in Google and I went there. I was in good hands. I first spoke with Thomas Morris who immediately put me at ease with his honesty and genuine problem-solving attitude. I left my car with them and continued on my trip in a rental.
Through a series of MY mistakes and lack of ability to figure out how to get my car back once they had completed the work, it was left there for far more than the original time I thought it would be. But they were extremely gracious with me and helped me figure out a good solution. During this time I spoke much with Chuck Swain (Owner) over the phone. He was incredibly generous, good-hearted and honest toward me. It was so refreshing to meet honest businessmen like these, and I would recommend their service to anyone. Thank you guys.
