Morgan surpassed customer service. My daughter lives in Tallahassee and the Hyundai dealership there could not find what was wrong with her car. We took it to Morgan at the Hyundai dealership in Pensacola. She found the problem and took care of it, as well as transportation for my daughter! Morgan you were a blessing to us.

salesman BOB FOLKER is AWESOME!!!!!
Allen Turner is a wonderful, clean, and professional dealership. I have purchased many, many, vehicles in my lifetime. Bob Folker is by far my most favorite salesman. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a wealth of information about a wide variety of vehicles. He is not pushy and makes you feel welcome! Bob Folker is honest and always has your best interest at heart. GO SEE BOB!!! You will not be disappointed.

What an amazing experience!
We have been looking to purchase an SUV. My husband did a fantastic job of narrowing it down to three. We saw one, and Alan Turner Hyundai was the next dealership in the line. We walked in and were met by a salesman - Carl - who is honestly the best salesman we have encountered. We have worked with a “few” over the years, but he was great. He was not pushy, he answered our questions, and his knowledge of the Palisade, the features (there are a lot more than we even realized!) was a “ten out of ten”. We told him we were in “investigating mode” and he respected that. When we left, we never even bothered with the number three option. Carl was able to get us into the SUV of our dreams. Everything went smoothly and was the best experience we have ever had with a car dealership. Jami, who handled the financial end was also the best in that part of the process. She explained things very well, she showed us some good options and told us the ones she recommended based on her personal experience. Top notch service from beginning to end, and an amazing SUV! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

As a female looking for a reliable car, I felt Bob did a great job answering all my questions and I didn’t feel like he was “taking me for a ride” when discussing prices and different options. Anytime I have family or a friend looking to get a new car, I say go see Bob!

Lack of business integrity, safety of service, and unprofessionalism.
This post is meant to discourage sales with Allen Turner Hyundai on the basis of their lack of business integrity, safety of service, and unprofessionalism. My background, I am an active-duty Marine stationed in Pensacola with a wife and newborn. Here is a short summary of interactions since August: I purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee with the understood intent of a safe vehicle for my pregnant wife and soon newborn. We were told this was an inspected high-quality Jeep that would function safely; this included a 30-day powertrain warranty. A week after purchase, the vehicle died at a stop sign while driving on base. The dealership towed the Jeep and said diagnostics revealed it was a bad battery. They replaced it with the wrong model battery(I came to learn this later). I spoke with Mike Whelan and requested that they send the vehicle to a Jeep mechanic because I was not confident in their pre-sale inspection as the battery died in a week. He would not allow that service and assured me that their mechanic he “trusts to work on the vehicle he drives his family with.”. A man’s word and handshake is his honor. Mid-October, the transmission began malfunctioning and we were forced to miss a pediatrics appointment for our newborn. The dealership told us this was our problem. This malfunction resolved on its own. Mid-November, we found the Jeep dead in the garage. The dealership told us to bring it in (it’s dead) and they’d run a diagnostic. I had AAA come out to jump it and their battery specialist told me they put the incorrect battery in the car. The dealership said they ran another diagnostic and the wrong model battery was the issue, they replaced it with the correct battery. They admitted to using the incorrect battery because they didn’t have the correct one in stock, this was irresponsibly dangerous. This new battery died two days later. The dealership towed the Jeep, provided a rental, and said they’d run a diagnostic. They couldn’t figure the issue so they sent it to the Jeep mechanic (what I had requested initially and Mike Whelan discouraged).

-The Jeep master mechanic diagnosed the power draw (an undisclosed aftermarket towing add-on) and informed me that there was an additional around $6,800.00 worth of parts and labor needed to make the vehicle safe. He told me that there was no way that Allen Turner Hyundai could have responsibly inspected the vehicle prior to sale based on their track record of not being able to diagnose the electrical issues. If they had the capability to diagnose electrical, they would have noticed these problems that he told me would not have come up in the short time I have been owning the vehicle. Allen Turner Hyundai accepted the Jeep master mechanic’s diagnosis and treatment of the vehicle but would not accept his assessment of their inability to safely inspect the vehicle on purchase. Their leadership, Mike Whelan and Chris Jones, would not take ownership or accountability for the irresponsible sale of a vehicle I now must invest almost $7,000.00 into to make safe for my wife and newborn. They would not acknowledge their limitations of having Hyundai mechanic systems that wouldn’t reveal Jeep-specific problems. Their offers were to trade-in the vehicle with them or someone else (I would lose thousands in depreciation) and they stated they’d put it right back on the lot (again a lack of attention to safety). They said they can’t “unwind” a deal. I asked another dealership’s management and they said it is possible to unwind a deal. It is incredibly inconvenient, they’d need to drive to the bank and cut a check and likely lose their Christmas bonuses and get chewed out, but it’s possible for management to do.

-The issues would’ve been covered under the powertrain warranty back in August had Mike Whelan not discouraged me from taking the car to the Jeep Mechanic. I thought that I was having cordial and professional discourse, but this whole time Allen Turner Hyundai has been telling us what we want to hear rather than what is true and what would keep my family safe. There’s no honor here. The verbal assurances and handshakes from their leadership are empty. Negligence, though not intentional or malicious, is still incredibly dangerous. Being active-duty with a newborn, I don’t have the time to turn to litigation, though legal counsel told me that Allen Turner did have deceptive warranty terms (they did not have the capability to uphold their warranty). I believe that Chris Jones and Mike Whelan realize that I don’t have the time to turn to a legal resolution. I now turn to the BBB to see if the owner Allen Turner finds this experience aligning with their mission statement of “Respect, Humility, and Excellence”.

Fast and Friendly
I recently bought a Silverado 1500 ZR2. Andy Seckler was my sales rep and Andy is one of the most kind, respectful, and understanding people you will ever meet. He answered all of my questions and listened to my concerns and made sure that everything was in order before signing. The whole process to purchase a new truck, with a trade-in, took about an hour form the time (after a test drive and appraisal) we sat down to finalize the purchase. That is very respectable considering past experiences with dealerships where the process becomes an all day marathon, no one has time for that sort of nonsense. Ask for Andy Seckler when you visit Allen Turner!

On another note, regarding the Allen Turner service department. I've seen a couple of negative reviews and I wholeheartedly disagree. I have always been treated with respect and always treated like any person would want to be treated, with respect and understanding. Things can go sideways sometimes but Allen Turner service department has gone to bat for me with Chevrolet Inc. on more than one occasion over things that should have been covered under warranty and/or recall and I couldn't have been more grateful for the money they saved me for things that would have cost thousands of dollars out of my own pocket. It's extremely difficult to find service like that any more, which is why I disagree with any of the negative reviews of Allen Turner service.

I tried to have my Hyundai serviced and was told they were "backed up" so I asked when? I was told I could leave it so I asked about getting to and from work the person there looked at me like I had four heads. I said ok then lets schedule service. He picked up the phone, dialed a number and went to hand me the phone. I said nope I'm here yo need to schedule me. Needless to say I was not scheduled. Sadly I bought my car at Allen Turner but never again. I sent an email to them over 7 days ago and only recieved the generic response from them. I looked at Eastern Shore they had several openings as soon as next day. When I got to Eastern Shore I was welcomed and taken VERY good care of. I honestly think Allen Turner should pay me for my time wear and tear on my car for having to schedule all service in another state because of his lack of service.

Highly recommend!!
My husband and I just bought a Palisade from Allen Turner Hyundai. Glenn Dowell one of their sales consultants helped us and he was awesome! He carefully explained everything to us and went way above and beyond by helping us move all our luggage etc from our old car to our new Palisade. If we could give him more than 5 stars we would!!! We definitely recommend Allen Turner Hyundai and ask for Glenn Dowell, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Started out good, then..
Bought a used car, they did not detail it, it's a mess, paid cash an have bought several cars there before. 2 weeks after, 3 dash lights come on one being check engine light, I mesg the salesman, he jerks me around for a bit, then tells me to bring it in to service dept, it took me a bit over a month to get in in there, due to my health issues, so had apt. at 8am for oil change an to check the lights on. The sales mang. checked me in, so left it there, at 4 pm they call an say it will be $150, to check the lights. an did not know it was to have an oil change, an this is the same mang, that checked me in, said he was going to check on them doing it an get back to me, not a word, I called back about 5:20pm, they all where gone in the service dept. next morning guy calls at 7:40 am to tell me the car is ready, i get there in the afternoon, because I had Dr apt's all morning, that I had to find transportation to, due to not having my car back. I pick it up, he said they can not check the lights on, it was sold as is. Kept the car all day an over night, for (maybe) getting the oil change, a sticker on the windshield, but who knows if they just put it on an did not even change the oil, who knows. salesman said he had new floor mates , I've never seen that, even after asking him, nothing. I will NEVER buy anything from them again, an will gladly let everyone I know, what crappy experience it has been.

When I have a scheduled service appointment for a simple oil change I do not want to be shocked by a $450 service fee on additional service at the door. Please let the customer know a few weeks prior to a scheduled appointment if there is necessary services due on the car. This way the customer can make an informed decision prior to an oil change appointment
