Worst dealership ever
Stay away from this dealership. They have a lot of hidden fees. They won’t keep their word. They told me something else when i was talking to sales person and something else when talking to finance manager.

Liar's all of them. They deliberately broke my engine. They know it and now everyone will know. They higher ups know what's going on and they allow it. Who knows, maybe they tell them to do it to sale cars. Break elderly people cars and lie to them. I will be naming names in my lawsuit against Hyundia. Country Hyundia, and to service people.

How Hyundia SCREWED ME!!!!!!
They should have a ZERO rating choice.Don't ever bring your car here for service. They truly suck. They did something to my car and then tried to blame me, all in the hopes that they could sale a new car. That's there goal. Break your car or jack up repair prices so you have no choice. You do!!! Call your attorney generals office and file a complaint. I wouldn't let them service my lawnmower. They take advantage of old people all for a dollar. GOD IS WATCHING

How Hyundia SCREWED ME!!!!!!
This is a horrible dealership. The service department is extraordinarily horrible. Two people in-particular who shall remain nameless. You know who you are. They purposely lied about the condition of my car to the corporate office. The damage was done by them doing a fusion flush on my car to charge me, when maybe that's not what was needed. Over the next month or so I returned to them with the car 2 more times for the same thing that they were to fix which was just a simple oil change where I was told the car needed yet another engine. 20+ days later to be told that it was my fault and they would not be fixing my car. Kool, gonna fix it my self, call the 22news investors, the attorney general, and my lawyer. I am 61 years old and if it takes me 20 years, God willing. I will be fighting against Country Hyundia until the day I die and writing these reviews to help stop them from doing this to anyone else.

Unprofessional staff
For 2 years now I never receive a return call especially from management. How rude is this. If you want to keep your customers start being more professional stop avoiding calls and start using another excuse other than your in a meeting and you will return the call when your done.

Always a problem in your service area. Receptionist couldn’t help me service manager at a business meeting and the general manager never returned my call. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shame on Country Hyundai!!!!

This problem has been going on for over 2 years now. Every time I have a scheduled appointment my wait time is at least 2 hours and nothing has been done to my vehicle. I have owned my vehicle for 2 years and still haven’t had my spare key programmed to my car. How nice is it that Hyundai takes my monthly payments on time but can’t do
a simple oil change. The owner needs to relook at your service dept. Today I had a simple oil change only. After 2 hours and 15 minutes my car hadn’t been services yet or my spare key done. Stop over booking and take better care of your customers. Getting tired of all the sorries it doesn’t mean anything anymore. Stop false advertising by saying customers get great service. It’s not about making tons of cash it’s about great customer service. STOP OVERBOOKING!!!!!

Poor Communication and a lack of leadership
Purchased a vehicle, drove 5 miles down the road and the check engine light comes on, back to the dealership I go, where I am told it needs a new engine and it’s not their problem because it’s a used Kia and so it’s Kia’s problem. They ignored the 30 day repair contract and canceled the sale so they did not have to pay for the repairs.

I can't give zero stars or I would. After having my SUV for 2.5 months waiting for my new engine due to a recall, I got the car back dirty, brakes rusted and the radio not working. It sat outside all winter long. I brought my car back to get the radio fixed, over a month ago! No one calls you back, only the receptionist answers the phone, service department ignores you. I will be calling the police department tomorrow. Buying the car 7 years ago was a good experience, service has not been and I would never recommend this dealership!

Unprofessional and Using Bait and Switch Tactics with Incentives
Do not use Country Hyundai. They are extremely unprofessional and downright scammy.

I recently bought a RWD Ioniq 5 from them on May 25th. I live in Connecticut, but there were none available in state. Country Hyundai had one, and Gary Rome had a few. I chose Country since they were offering additional incentives from the dealership - a check for $1000 and a free Juicebox charger.

I reached out and was told the whole process could be done remotely, with free registration and free delivery. It sounded too good to be true. I signed the paperwork and then hit the first hurdle. Due to the CT DMV being appointment only, it would be three weeks until they could register the car, as that was the earliest appointment available. Extremely disappointing, but something I understood as unavoidable.

Three weeks pass. A representative shows up at my house to have me sign over my title on my trade in, a 2014 Elantra. They leave with the title. The DMV appointment is a few days later. The day of the appointment I get a phonecall from the representative I had been speaking to, asking me if I can rush out to the Enfield DMV. The DMV is 40 minutes away and my appointment is in 15 minutes. I then get told that they forgot to have me sign some paperwork. The rep calls me, panicked, and asks if they can forge my signature. I am uncomfortable with this, and they tell me they had to reschedule the appointment to the coming Thursday (it is Tuesday). The person who was at the DMV shows up at my house to have me sign the paperwork. It was 2 copies of the title, and several copies of power of attorney. The dealership had the gall to suggest that this was somehow partially my fault, but did end up admitting they dropped the ball.

Thursday shows up and I ask about the new appointment. They admit they actually meant the following Thursday. At this point I'm livid and they promise they are looking into compensation for my trouble.

The next Thursday finally rolls around and they make it through the DMV appointment at 12:15. It is getting close to 3:00 before I see the car. I watched it in the myHyundai app and they wandered over half the state. I haven't gotten them to admit it, but I strongly suspect they were making additional stops to other customers to sign paperwork, in my bought and paid for car, without my permission. I am not a courier service.

When the car is dropped off I ask the drivers about the Juicebox and the check for $1000. They have no idea about that, so I reach back out to the rep at Country. She says she is looking into it.

Cut to today, and they tell me that the Juiceboxes are backordered, but they are reneging on the deal for the $1000, 'since that was a May deal'. Again, I bought and signed finance paperwork for this car in May. I also have heard nothing additional regarding compensation.

This company has been unprofessional and downright confused about the car selling process the whole time I've been interacting with them, and provide fake incentives to drum up business.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Long and longer 6hrs to close on two cars pickup 5 days later not ready
I bought a Hyundai Sonata from scott Peters last May, fantastic salesman. Wish he was here last week. I first called for Scott Mar1,03 He was not available due to personal reasons, I got Jay on the phone who was quick to tell me they would make me a great deal trading in my 2022 Sonata. My wife and I show up to the dealership about 1:00PM We were asighned to Rodd who did a good job by us. The rest of the time we were getting told it would be a few min. We bought two cars a 2020 Elantra (cash) 2023 elantra financed.We left at 7:15 pm with no cars. Monday Jay says come on in everything is set 2 and1/2hrs later with the 23 not even inspected. Today is Mar 9. Spoke with Rodd yesterday, called me back yesterday said a couple of items on the contract we corrected and there were two things left.Nice guy calls the customer to inform whats happening. Like I said two cars the 2020 which I paid cash new plates and sticker, is still not in my possession. I'm a disabled vietnam vet who would rather be getting all of my teeth pulled, bypass surgery(which I've had). would not reccomend dealing with any of thier management. The sales staff is the only thing keeping them from drowning. I don't need to sign my name because every one there knows who I am.

Unprofessional
What an unprofessional ordeal i went through on my last visit. I brought my car in for an inspection sticker and radiator flush and was told my car would not pass inspection due to a tire issue... so i purchased 4 brand new tires and was told i still couldn't pass because of a window switch issue... this after the car was at Country Hyundai and then taken next door to Volkswagon dealership because of an inspection problem at Country Hyundai. In the meantime i was told one of my drive belts needed replacing so i had that work done.

Now keep in mind my appointment was for 7:30 a.m. so it was about 1:30 p.m. that i was told the part for the door switch had to be ordered and work would be performed on Saturday... they told me they would shuttle me home.... after 2 more hours of waiting i called my daughter to pick me up... at this point they told me a loaner car would be given me... after waiting 2 hours they finally told me this... i declined the offer because my daughter was already enroute to pick me up...

Fast forward to Saturday... i didn't hear from Country Hyundai so i decided to call and was told my car would be ready and i would receive a call. I received a call a few hours later and was told that the mechanic who last worked on my car locked the keys in his tool box and there was no way they could repair my car on Saturday...

i told them that i had an extra set of keys and that if i got the keys to them they would work on my car... an employee came by to pick up the keys but told me it was now too late to work on the car even though their was still a few business hours left in the day... My visit to Country Hyundai has been a nightmare and the only way they could make it up to me would be to waive all charges... most likely this will not happen so my 9 year association with them is over.
