Such a great dealership!
I traded a Cadillac for a hybrid Sonata. I truly love my little car! It’s white and looks like a Storm Trooper. It has SO many wonderful features and the service department is simply fantastic. Shout out to Dennis!
My car regularly gets 56 mpg and sometimes gets 60 mpg. Why can’t all cars be this good?

Incompetent
Everyone at the dealership is incompetent whether Hyundai or Chevrolet. Management is a joke they refuse to give you the best deal or even a fair deal. Wouldn’t recommend to my worse enemy. They will disturb you on vacation to remove a true review cause it they are afraid it will hurt their business.

Honestly is not a word in their vocabulary
Chad, who apparently is the service manager, lacks the ability to communicate in a honest manner in my situation. Beginning in mid-June, I have been trying to get a window problem repaired. On two different occasions, he informed me he was waiting for the glass company to coordinate with him to facilitate the repair. Also, on two occasions, he told me the glass, as well as the runner, will need to be replaced. The estimated cost for this repair was $750.00. After waiting 7 days for him to contact me regarding parts availability I perused another avenue. I contacted Safelite to see if they could make the needed repairs. Indeed they could. The glass and runner did not need replaced. They only had to reattach the window tabs and here’s the kicker, they did it at no charge as it was a simple repair. Long story short, I will never buy a vehicle that requires the participation of the service department in West Huntington

I have a 2022 Hyundai Elantra that has been at this shop since February and it’s July for a check engine light. I called today for a update an Tyler told me he was going to check and transfer me to a voicemail. I made a complaint on the dealership website and got a call from a gentleman who said he was going to look into my situation but just like every person I talk to results in nothing being done and no call no update. This establishment lacks the ability to do anything an sadly they still have my car that I probably will never get back. No one seems to care that I’ve been without a brand new car I paid for five months plus. I would caution anyone to do business here.

YET AGAIN!
After buying and leasing 4 cars over the past 9 years from them I have seen this place slip more and more. There is something every time we take our car in for service. This time it took a couple days for someone to answer the phone and they squeezed us in for tires and an oil change. We dropped it off and the guy checking in said, "Did you call about the tires to make sure they are in?" After telling him we called to make the appointment, he took the keys and told us it would be finished in a couple hours. Almost 3 hours later, we get the call that they didn't have the tires. 1. You sell these cars, you should know what tires they need. 2. You probably should keep some in stock. 3. Since you were incapable of either #1 or #2 at least give me the courtesy of telling me that you can't complete the work and don't waste my time! I have driven from Ashland to Huntington to let you service the car I bought from you and have been sent back with nothing done to my vehicle TWICE in the last couple of weeks. We have a broken lift gate that you kept all day just to let me know that you needed to order the part. IT'S STILL NOT IN! It seems like service gets worse every time we take a vehicle to you. My other car was purchased from another dealer in Huntington and they are FABULOUS to deal with. Dutch Miller is wanting me to trade this vehicle on a new purchase and has been very persistent about it. Why would I want to buy a vehicle from a dealer that can't manage to service what they sell? Last time I was upset about the service experience they bribed me to delete my negative review with service vouchers. People need to know what to expect. A customer service downward spiral. It's going to take more than $100 in coupons this time. FIX THE WAY YOU DO THINGS!

Poor communication
My car has been at the dealership since 6/06/2022. I had called the week prior and made arrangements for it to be towed there for a scheduled appointment 8am the following day. I understand the process of waiting for approval through Hyundai for part replacement and that can take time. What I don’t understand is the lack of communication with the service department and myself. I had no idea what was going on with my vehicle. I’ve called the service department on multiple occasions only to wait for 50 plus minutes with no answer. Tyler in the service department is rude and has treated me curtly through this whole process. I finally got tired of my calls not being answered so I contacted the dealership side. I spoke with a very nice man and I’m sorry I don’t recall his name. He had Tyler return my call to give me the first update I’ve had on my vehicle since it was brought in. Tyler also stated he would be sure to give me an update as soon as Hyundai approved my parts. It’s been two weeks and I’ve still not heard an update from him. I contacted the service department myself and spoke with a woman who confirmed Hyundai has approved my replacement parts, but she didn’t have anymore information since my vehicle isn’t one that she’s over. She was also polite and easy to deal with. I just feel as a customer I should be informed of what’s going on with my vehicle. It’s been quite sometime, and again I understand this is a long process. I should not be left in the dark as to what’s going on. I’ve not even been given an estimate of how long it will be and the dealership is out of loaner vehicles. Communication and contact with your customers from the service department needs to improve.

I apologize for the problem that you are having with your Sonata.  Hyundai is very specific about what is covered on the warranty extension for this engine and unfortunately valvetrain problems are not.

Always disappointed
They overbook on service and it ALWAYS takes way longer than it should for oil change. Fluids were not filled up, tires were over inflated, and sticker on windshield says next oil change isn't due for 13,000!!!!! Not to mention they find some issue every time I go for oil they say needs fixed when I don't feel it really does. For examp!e, my very first oil change at 7000 miles with a brand new car they say I need new windshield wipers front and back and wanna charge me 120 for them. In my opinion if I gotta change windshield wipers every 6 months the car is terrible. It's just something stupid everytime. Always the worst service, will NEVER buy from this dealership again.
