I explicitly asked while working through the paperwork with the Finance Manager that they did not add any warranties that were not on the Sticker price of the vehicle I purchased (Genesis GV70) and while it is my fault I did not catch he did in fact add the warranty to the contract; it is poor service to include it without warning.
I have since been working to contact the dealership to get the warranty cancelled and reimbursed. I have been ignored almost every step of the way. It took 2 weeks to get into contact with someone that could process the cancellation paperwork. It has now been a month since we have processed that paperwork and confirmed that it was being processed; and I still have not heard anything about where we are in that process. I have made constant calls up to the dealership and have not been able to get in contact with anyone regarding the cancellation request.
This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had in buying a vehicle. I would very much recommend looking elsewhere when inquiring about a new vehicle. At the very least be very sure to scour the paperwork and don't trust what they are telling you.

I am reaching out to the customer to let them know the warranty has been cancelled. And apologize for the lack of contact.

First class sales person we dealt with. But she was called away from us to do things that some else could have done. Like putting dealer plates on another car.
I am very disappointed in the fact that genesis connected services site has been shut down since we bought it on 6/21. I have returned to the dealership twice to get connected but when they tried they were told that the service is shut down. I don’t blame the dealership but I do blame genesis for not getting this up and running sooner?
