Purchsed new palisade
I recently purchased a new palisade. Overall, the experience was average. The sales team was friendly. However, once you get past the initial meet and test drive the entire experience is just the standard auto sales script. For example, your trade is garbage for all of 'the reasons' and their slogan of 'we're dealing' isn't practiced. A sales manager refused to negotiate and instead said "palisades sell themselves'. I could have walked away but I was a crunch and instead accepted that response. In hindsight, that was an error. I understand they're in sales and their objective is to maximize profit but it was very apparent throughout the process. They also push all of the 'extra protection' once you've decided to move forward with all of the standard 'I don't get anything from selling you these extras, I'm on salary" bologna. It's just an average car buying experience. Overall the experience was 'meh' and I'm left wondering if I shouldn't have looked elsewhere for the palisade.

False Advertisement
Ricart Hyundai has been my car dealership for over three years now and i have purchased three vehicles from them, 1. 2018 Hyundai Kona , 2. 2018 Hyundai Sonata , 3. 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz with only 11miles when i drove it off the lot so this is just to say i have had a great experience over the years of supporting this company. Unfortunately i have to say im quite disappointed in Ricart Hyundai dealership and the reason being I received a letter yesterday Acknowledging of a Loan & Lease termination program specifically offering me the opportunity to "terminate' my existing auto loan or lease and get to choose from over 200 vehicles with No payments for 90 days with little as $0 down! also to take advantage of up to $1000 trade in assistance, The letter stated that i can bring this invitation to ricart and present it to an authorized dealer representative, I carefully re read the letter so i could be clear that this is an offer for me to get a brand new 2022 -2023 vehicle from ricart and relinquish my current lease that i have with my 2018 Hyundai sonata i have the letter with the Access Code for reference and i said Hmmm let me call the person that is named on the letter Jeremy Young "General Manager' I called no answer so i left a voice mail message pertaining to the letter he sent me , Today i got a call from Jose Cedeno, Sales Consultant , and we talked about the letter i received as well as who i was calling for to get answers about the letter he told me that Jeremy referred him to me due to him being out of the office. I thought that was ok and proceeded to take a look online at the 2023 Hyundai sonata limited that i was interested in purchasing i had already did my homework on the vehicle and was starting to like it, i told him i could setup an appointment with him 02/26/2023 at 1pm. as i continued to check the new 2023 sonatas out i said let me drive up since i live in Grove City and the Dealership was not far. My disappointment is once i sat down with this young man and looked over the car test drove the car as he took my vehicle 2018 Hyundai sonata for a drive to evaluate the trade in cost towards the new 2023 Sonata we returned back to the dealership basically at the same time. he invited us to have a seat while he went to gather information for the sale. At this time a salesman came over to discuss the pricing and how much i would have to put down on the new vehicle as well as the price i would end up paying. The price that was first stated to me was $38,000, by the time he showed me his write up on the vehicle with taxes and other pricing and monthly payments he quoted me a $48,000 car plus a $680 monthly payment!!!! If anyone has ever seen the show 'SHARKTANK'' then it wouldn't be a surprise to hear the words "FOR THOSE RESONS I'M OUT" my disappointment was that they never took any consideration of the letter that i brought with me about the LOAN & LEASE TERMINATION" all that was said at the end was that the reason the cost is so high because i still owed $19,000 on my 2018 Hyundai sonata. as much as i like Ricart dealership I'm withdrawing my likeness for the way this was handled.

Take your business elsewhere.
Ordered a car to be paid in cash. Turns out the dealer “forgot” to put my name on it and sold it to someone else. I can live with that. We all make honest mistakes. What I can’t live with the lying that ensued after the mistake was made. I was told the car was “totaled in transport” and would never make it to the dealership. However, a quick VIN check told me the car DID make it to the dealership and was sold. It took me 6 phone calls and driving into the dealership 3 times and showing them that I had the VIN report showing it was sold at their dealership for them to finally admit to the lie. Terrible terrible way to treat your customers. Oh, and their offer to keep my business was $500 off MSRP, woohoo! Take your business to Preston at Dennis Hyundai

I have a 2012 Hybrid Sonata
The air conditioner doesn’t work when it’s 80 or above. When I turn it on it’s allowed humming noise and it blows hot heat.
When it’s in the garage and it’s cool in there it works so again they say it’s nothing that be done. I

My car was having problems with the heating/cooling option for the front seats so I took it into Ricart. Asia was the person who helped me through the whole process until it was able to be repaired. She was very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend Ricart to others. Thank you.

Pleasant experience
Although it took almost 2 hours for the service, I was informed of this ahead of time and the staff were absolutely great at checking in me and informing me of the status of my vehicle. They took good care of me and brought my car back washed and ready to go.

Hyundai Engine replacement
My car was there for a week before I received any communication about my car. I was without my car for about 6 wks. When I picked my car up no explanation of what was all done. This was covered by Hyundai because of issues with the engine. I wasn't told if it was a new engine or a refurbished engine. I wasn't told of any warranty that may go with this repair. I was given my papers and my car was pulled up and that was it. My fiance did ask the guy who pulled the car up if he knew if we had any type of warranty and he said 12,000 miles.
