Horrible Customer Service-Service Department
If there were zero stars I would’ve give them that!
Worst customer service!
I’ve been in the car industry and I have never been treated so disgustingly in my life!
This person Norma, apparently whatever she was doing on her cellphone was more important than acknowledging a customer. We were like ok I guess we’ll go somewhere else… and finally Norma acknowledge us. We asked her what our warranty covers… she looked at the computer and with disgusted face expression said “oh you have the basic” it only covers up to 50k or five years.
We then said ok well this are the lights that are showing in our dashboard which it seems to be and electric problem since you guys change a lightbulb and it stopped working… you guys need to fix that and I need to make an appointment for service… Norma said “well that’s going to cost you $220 just to check what you have going on in your car”
My husband was absolutely in shock after he said “but I already know that the car needs a service and the electric problem were the light is, so just for you to check you just going to charge me $220??”
On top of all this….. This dealership apparently doesn’t have enough maintenance workers/staff so for us to get an appointment it would be until NOVEMBER 20th!!!!!!!!!!
This place is a joke.
Last year same thing….. always trying to make money off of you!!!! Always trying to see if they can add stuff to your bill.
Good luck to you guys and you need to change or do some training on your customer service since they are the ones dealing with the public!
I will never come back nor will suggest coming to this place for any business.

Below bare minimum service at a luxury price point
Bought a genesis from this dealer in august, right away the car has braking issues that I didn’t notice during test drive. i used their texting service to schedule an appointment on 3 different occasions and was told that someone would reach out to me for an appointment but they never did. about a month goes by then I’m starting to have steering wheel and alignment issues so I make the call to the service department for an appointment. HERES THE BEST PART!: I called to make an appointment to have my car looked at and the guy says that they are booked out for a month and a half and I should contact another dealership. I then told him that I would just like to make the appointment at their dealership instead and he literally says “yeah no I can’t do that… we would rather someone come in at that time that is actually gonna come” after a picked my jaw up off of the floor I said “if I need to cancel the appointment I will, but I would rather have one just in case” he then says “yeah no we can’t do that.. just call the dealer in laguna niguel”. he literally wouldn’t give me the appointment even though I did not mind waiting. are you guys serious?!? so then I call the next dealership and make an appointment which goes well but as soon as I brought up how I will need a loaner (which I was promised to have with the $5k warranty I purchased) she got annoyed immediately and let me know I’m gonna have a mileage limit which is less than what my daily commute is. c‘mon guys, this is not the service that I would expect from buying a vehicle at this price point. I spent a lot of money at your dealership for this car and this is NOT cool. thank god I love the car as much as I do because it does compensate for the absolutely terrible experiences I am having with this dealership. if you want a Hyundai or a genesis, please go anywhere else literally.

TERRIBLE SERVICE ORDERING PARTS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Placed and paid for a special order part and was told I'd receive a call in a few days once it arrived.

1. They did not call me. (It's been over a week)
2. I called and left a voicemail asking for a follow-up with my contact information, which they never called me back.
3. I went through the online chat option to ask for assistance and still didn't get a call back.
4. Called someone in the parts department and they hung up on me as I vented my frustration with their lack of customer service and follow-up.

This place is terrible. Their parts staff lacks the basic communication needed to properly do the simple job. Never coming here again.

Car not being repaired
I am one day shy of six weeks that the Hyundai service center has had my car (Kona EV 2019) and there has been no progress update unless I show up at the dealership. Also, no communication or date of when I can pickup my car. I did not purchase my car so that it would sit at the service center for now 1/12 of the calendar year.

CASE STILL OPEN FRAUDULENT - HAD TO HIRE LEGAL TEAM...Hyundai Motor Finance has received numerous fraudulent payments from the Tuttle-Click dealership on my 2020 Hyundai Kona vehicle that I traded in January 15th, 2023. Most recent activity was a payment that was received by Hyundai Finance as a pending payment sent on March 10th, 2023 and received on March 20th, 2023 and processed unsuccessfully due to payment cancelation and insignificant funds on March 23, 2023.

I've had to hire a legal team to navigate this horrible experience and fraudulent activity. Tuttle-Click team conducted numerous Toll Road Violation and driving infractions with the vehicle.

I've contacted Consumer Affairs with a case, Hyundai Finance, Hyundai Collection and DMV on the matter. All departments haven't received any updates and also don't provide much help.

I turned in my lease January 15th, 2023 and the buyout of the vehicle and payments are STILL OUTSTANDING to date. BEWARE of this dealership activity.

Complete Nightmare! Hyundai Motor's Never Received Payment of Vehicle and Continuing to Try and Charge Me 2 MONTHS LATER.
Unfortuently, I'm having to edit this review. What I thought was a great experience at first as turned into a complete nightmare.

I turned in my Hyundai 2020 Black Kona in JAN 2023 and leased a new Hyundai 2023 White Tuscan same day. Since then I've been receiving past due and outstanding payments for the 2023 Hyundai Kona - Black that I turned in JAN 2023......OVER 2 MONTHS...

Hyundai finance and Hyundai Motors has "NO RECORD" of payment or documentation from the dealership nor has the DMV with any proof of purchase for the vehicle. At this juncture it is looking suspect.

How has the vehicle been purchased from Hyundai Motors and sold according to the dealership, but both the DMV rand Hyundai Motors have NO record showing this transaction. The DMV shows I'm still the registered owner which is incorrect and doesn't seem possible without title for the sale.

I've spoke with the Sales Manager on the issue who stated I would received proof of sale to the new driver which I can use to submit to both parties since the dealership would not. This would hopefully help with the miscommunication between the DEALERSHIP and CORPORATE and payment misplacement.

Currently I filed a claim with Hyundai Claim Team and processed a case with my bank. I also filed a release of liability with the DMV once again and submitted the contract of my new 2023 Tuscan vehicle which showcases we took equity from the Kona and applied it to the Tuscan acknowledging the transaction. Wish me luck on this. Never experienced anything like tis.

Service Dept never returns your call and poor customer service
After 3 days and 5 voicemails they still never returned my call. Finally when I schedule a visit, they take from 8:15am to 6:30pm to get my car back for a trunk latch repair recall and oil change. They also charged me for the recall work that should have been covered under warranty by manufacturer. Very disappointed every time I have to go to this place. It’s the closest Genesis dealer near me. They also never sent me my customer review as they said they would

Don't Go On the Weekend if You Have No Idea What's Wrong With Your Car
I think most people come to get their car serviced because they recognize a problem with their vehicle but don't quite know what the problem is. I came a couple of hours before the service center opened hoping to get serviced first. I had an issue and told the service representative about the symptoms I noticed but obviously I don't know what exactly the issue is. I was quickly turned away from service because this service center "doesn't do diagnostics on the weekend." So I'm led to believe that in order to get service on the weekends, I have to know EXACTLY what's wrong with my car before even bringing it in? I couldn't find anywhere on the website any indication that this was the practice that diagnostics aren't performed on weekends. Had I known that, I'd obviously not commit to coming in early in the morning. While I understand they have to manage the demand for services, I think it's a bit ridiculous to expect the average consumer to know what exactly is wrong with their vehicle before bringing in their vehicle in for service

Worst service ever from Service Dept.
Where do I start? Took my car to Tuttle Click for routine services and recalls for several years. Always left feeling their team was rude and didn't want to work and customers were not on their priority list. Finally stopped and started going to another dealership. Recently I had to tow my car to Irvine Tuttle Click, against my gut feeling, but trying to save $60 tow fee going out to a further dealership and my check engine light was not going away. Issue after they ran diagnostic
was Sparkplug replacement and cost was $270 which is very over priced of course! It took almost a week for reapair, AND then my car got hit by one of their vendors on their watch. The Service manager, Tony was unapologetic and very rude and defensive. No effort whatsoever to make things right in any way. He was adamant that in no way was it his responsibility because a vendor hit my car, not them. No offer to discount the over-priced spark plugs, credit for next visit, nothing. According to Tony, it was not their issue even though my car was in their possession on their lot, which may or may not be true. But his bedside manner was HORRIBLE. I barely got an apology from him at all, and only after I asked for HIS manager's info.
I have never felt so offended and unappreciated as a customer and past customer. Tony had no issue encouraging me to handle the body damage repair work outside of the guy who hit ny car (his vendor's) insurance, as he was a regular vendor of Tuttle Click and a 'trustworthy guy". Honestly, their vendor was a very apologetic and nice man, unlike Tony, the Service Manager. I can go on and on, but I'll fast forward to the day I actually got my car back from Tuttle Click Body Shop, after 2 weeks, as they missed the repair on trunk damage the first round. I went to pick up and then had to leave it so they could take it back and complete body repair for 2nd time. After a few more days i went to pick it up and run out of that place! The very next day while on Ortega Highway (deadly highway in itself), the check engine light came back on which is what i took my car in for to begin with. AND.. I got another warning along with it: CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM. TURN OFF ENGINE.
You can imagine the fear.

Well, my vehicle is now at another dealership getting serviced. I will NEVER EVER go back to Tuttle Click Hyundai again. I am a Hyundai owner for my last 3 vehicles and now will NEVER Buy another Hyundai again. I will be letting Hyundai Corp know this, as well as leaving reviews wherever I can warning others. IThis is a first for me even doing this review and now I am willing to go further so others know how awful Tuttle Click Hyundai treats their customers and services their cars and protects their cars, on their watch from accidents on their lot. I didn't even go further and explain the rudeness by Adam, the Tuttle Click Hyundai Rental car manager. It seems their managers need some training on how to treat their customers.

Please don't trust this dealership. They do not value their business from customers at all. We are just another irritation in their day.

P.S. I heard from someone on inside they have had a changes in staff due to complaints, etc.

I hope you believe I'm not a crazy, irate customer, as I am not. I only want to help and warn others. If not, good luck and I hope you leave there with a good experience. That's all I ever wanted from them.

Horrible Customer Servive
I wish I could give this zero stars. I dropped off my car to get the power steering looked at and was told they would look at it that day or first thing the next morning. After hearing nothing back, I called only to be told it would be another day or two and my car was still SIXTH in line. Zero communication and a lack of desire to get my car looked at. I’m now out of a car for almost a full work week and still don’t even know if they’ll be able to repair it. If anybody knows of a garage with any amount of customer service at all please let me know!

Parts Department Service was awesome
I am an RN, I don't know cars but was able to describe in my words what I was looking for and David deciphered it, and had the right part for me in just a few moments. Friendly, helpful, offered to carry it to the car for me... I have to go to service but wanted to share that their parts people do a great job too.

Horrible customer service; lack of professionalism and knowledge. After two days in the dealer, the service team was not able to diagnose my car for an error that I’ve been having for almost a year.
