Nineteen years and 221,000 miles later......it still runs and looks great.

Over the 19 years it developed some rust on the left rocker panel (now fixed) but the rest of the body is still great. After 220,000 miles it needed ball joints and a water pump, but what vehicle that age doesn't? Am driving it this month to the Rockies and expecting it to be fine.

Keeps on going

19.5 years of dependable service on highway, byway and sometimes no way, in all that Alaska weather could throw at it. Hunting, fishing, exploring, working. Beat up, roughed up but kept up. My second Chevy since ‘89. Third one since ‘71 (it was a ‘58 Apache 10). Keeping it is a lot less expensive than buying a new one. It’s a five speed manual with real 4 x 4 on the floor. A farm truck.

Old Silverado

This has been the most comfortable and reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I bought this new in 2000. Over the years, I have looked at some other vehicles, but the truth is I don't like any of them as well as my old Silverado. with well over 300,000 miles on it, I would say I have gotten my money's worth.

15 1/2 years old; 152,000 miles and running

This is my second Chevrolet pick-up in 26 years and I only wish I had gone for a 3/4 ton. No regrets for it. It has seen me through some of the strangest terrain in Alaska. Much to my amazement. It is standard transmission and people envy that in rough conditions.

silverado chevy 2000

I purchased this truck Jan 2015 for my Son's birthday. Not to New but could take care of his travel needs of being an Athlete and helpful hand with family obligations. By looks of the truck she was beautiful, however; she needed a lot of TLC under the hood that I was unaware of. Over the years, she had been neglected, Redhawk Auto Service has been patient to see me get the drive ready for my Son to take over. Slowly but surely we have gotten her to the point that I can turn her over to my Son knowing that he will be safe when he drives the Truck. A lot of People admire my 2000 Silverado Chevy, and I glad that we got her back together for her claim to fame. We are a society of disposable generation, but I wouldn't want someone to toss me away when I have bad days! She now rides smooth, and I'm confident that my Son will think so too!
