A true workhorse!

I got my Expefition when it had just under 180,000 miles. At 325,000 miles she’s still going. Things have been replaced and repaired, and she just keeps on going. Depedable, comfortable, and big enough to camp in, help someone mov, carry everything from groceries to pavers snd sod…. A real workhorse. I’m sold on the Expedion!

Not a Suburvan

We purchased this car after owning 2005 Explorer, 2005 Escape, 1999 F350, 1992 F250, 1998 F150, various bump sides & dent sides.. Brand loyalty is important, but I was considering a suburban, when this came up for sale. Tows great, plenty of room for tools, now my wife is using it as a D.D. Third row folds flat w/power. I’m sorry I didn’t know about this when we bought our (lemon) Explorer (used). Would definitely recommend as a can or pick up alternative.

Original owner of my 2003 Ford Expedition

My 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition is one of the best cars I've ever owned. It does have issues at 20 years old, but in hindsight I would buy it again. The first 80K miles were trouble free. After that most issues were maintenance related. At higher milaage the 5.4 motor is known to blow out spark plugs, mine has lost 2 in the last 2 months (190K miles). According to my mechanic this problem happens, but 2 times is unusual. Rides great (80 mph down the highway at 2000 RPM), can carry 8 passengers, power 3rd row seats, plenty of tourque.

My Ford expedition

I bought this vehicle new and love it. It now has 215k miles in n it and has just started giving me problems. Once the sunroof leaked but had it fixed and no more issues. I would highly recommend this vehicle. Considering buying another.

Big station wagon

Have had a second generation expedition for about 3 years, after owning a first generation for about 5 years. The second generation is inferior when compared. It’s noisier and has zero off road prowess. This while still delivering poor gas mileage. Will not buy another expedition.

American quality, a pickup for a guy with kids to haul around.

I really do like my expedition, and don’t have any complaints. Parts are reasonable, it’s easy to work on, and it’s built tough enough to do what I need, while hauling kids around at the same time. It has bigger calipers, motor, & room than the explorer (which I had an 02’) so you really can do anything an F150 or even a F250 could do, I feel. I’ve been underneath it several times to do maintenance & repairs,....so I know what I’m looking at. The 5.4 is ideal, and would change a thing. Plenty of power to pull a trailer like a small camper.....and it has rear air for the kiddos. I even bought it super duper cheap from a one owner who had a pile of records, so I know they took care of it. All in all, it’s a perfect larger than midsized SUV, or like I look at it.....a pickup tough vehicle that you can haul kids, with a third row of seating.

From A-B!

I had no intention on purchasing a "gas guzzler" but had a change of heart when I saw it! I was not at all happy with the many issues I encountered after being assured by the seller that there weren't any!

Love my car

My baby is 17 years old and she’s still going strong. I dread the day she finally stops working. We’ve traveled to many states and I’ve moved a bunch of people. I’ve put furniture, windows, beds, desks, building supplies & more in my car when I was told they wouldn’t fit. Longest & best car I’ve ever owned. My boyfriend liked mine so much, he bought an 03’ like mine & uses it for work doing construction jobs

KEEPS ON WORKING LIKE A BEAST

My vehicle has close to 200 thousand miles on it. Treat it to the normal maintenance and it will keep you moving like a champ. This thing has been a work horse and done several coast to coast tow trips without any issues. I know the vehicle is getting old and I dread having to replace it. I know that finding a workhorse and beast like this is going to be a challenge.

Best vehicle we have ever owned

We bought this vehicle new in 2003. It has had very few issues, mainly normal maintenance. Never any major engine or transmission issues. At least not yet. Rides and handles like it did off the lot. Great buy.

Excellent for our purposes and nearing 200,000 miles.

The Expedition has been the perfect vehicle for our prdposes. It is comfortable, quiet on the road, and allows us to pull our travel trailer, boat and loaded car trailer with ease. Considering the mileage on it, the service record has been reasonable. Paint and interiour have held up well, and it gives good mileage on the tires.

Long lasting

It is a 2003 Ford Expedition. I bought it in 2005 and it had 33,000 miles on it. It had 33,000 miles and now has 243,000. I have had to fix a few things on it over the years but have taken great care of it and it has lasted so far 2019.
