Wonderful car... higher quality than even the 2016 MB C300 I've been looking at to replace my lease.
I feel proud to drive this American made car and it's a real treat in quality, comfort and economy. Original MSRP was $42k and leased the car for 36 months. Only had one issue with the one-touch window feature and two minor recalls. I started looking at different cars begining with the new Mercedes C300 - it's so beautiful. After driving and getting back into my Fusion, I simply could not see where the extra $20,000 was in either build quality or performance. I was disappointed. I'm very tempted to re-lease another Fusion and I've never bought/leased the same vehicle twice. I know you might say or think I didn't want to spend the extra money or couldn't afford the difference but my lease payments would only be about $50 dollars apart and I really wanted to like the Mercedes. Seriously, if you're considering a BMW, MB or Audi you should at least drive this car and see for yourself. Ford offers most all the same features (or more) compared to the Euro brands. If you're a gear-head it may not be as 'fun' to drive but is certainly comfortable and I'm averaging over 80MPG. Driving the Fusion is like being in a spaceship and feels more like the future than any car I've recently driven.
