Hyundai Kona

I love my Kona. It is so beautiful and it runs great. Its the first time that I ever bought a Kona before. It has a lot of toys. The only thing that I don't like about it that it doesn't have a donut tire or a spare. Other than that I love it.

Second Hyundai

Love my Hyundai . second one for me and i am hoping as good a vehicle as my first one. I love having electronics this time, elect windows, etc. as when i got a nail in my tire, it was letting me know which tire and how much pressure was left. that is a definite plus.

Great, but not a family friendly vehicle!

Great, but not a family friendly vehicle! If you have children, this is not the vehicle for you. At the time of purchase, children were not a possibility for my husband and I, so that factor was not in place for the decision of our purchase. Since, we've been blessed with a little one and there is simply no room and we are scrambling to find something different. This is in no way Hyundai's fault but rather operator choice error, however, I'd hate to see a family purchase this vehicle thinking it'll be great for small children.....IT IS NOT! Go bigger!

2020 Kona SEL AWD

AWD great in snow, plenty of safety features, love the styling and the gas mileage! I'm very satisfied! Car is fun to drive, even though it's not a turbo. I get 31 to 33 mpg combined city/lhighway, which is MUCH better than the Jeep Renegade it replaced.

THE VEHICLE IS GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. GAS MILEAGE IS VERY GOOD. EXCELLENT SAFETY FEATURES WHEN ACTIVATED. CRUISE CONTROL IS GREAT IT ACTUALLY SLOWS THE VEHICLE DOWN WHEN YOU GET TO CLOSE TO THE PERSON AHEAD OF YOU. INTERIOR IS NICE ELECTRIC SEATS.

Kona

I like my Kona. I previously owned a Tucson and did not like the transmission. I had trouble accelerating. I wish it had a CD player and I lost some storage space. I have owned it for a year now and am satisfied.

Not as reliable as I had hoped

We have owned the vehicle 1 year. We have an appt to take it in, because engine is rattling, the car is stalling and steering wheel is making a sliding noise. This will now be the second Hyundai I have owned w engine issues. Very dissatisfied.

Kona is a very economical vehicle. Seats are comfortable and warning system outstanding. I feel safe in the surroundings. Easy navigating phone, maps, radio and all aspects on the dash. I made the best buy for my needs.

Great value

The car really handles well. Gas mileage is very good. It’s an excellent size for in town driving and visibility is good. Four of us took a road trip with enough room for comfortable seating and our gear.

Fantastic Vehicle

In a slightly biased review, I give the 2020 Hyundai Kona a 5 Star rating because it is almost the perfect compact SUV for me. Gas mileage is great, it reaches highway speeds very well in Sport Mode, and I believe the vehicle is overall highly suitable for most drivers. My only gripe with the vehicle is that I must carefully and slowly increase speed (when at highway speeds) in order to avoid redlining. I assume that is due to lack of HP. I wish there was a course on driving each specific vehicle model (that would be awesome and prevent owners from improperly using new vehicles).

Love at first sight

This vehicle has exceeded my expectations in every way! Great fuel economy, always reliable, fun to drive, & handles AMAZING! I get lots of compliments on how nice it is, & for a smaller car there is SO much storage room. I especially love how the back seats easily fold down & still lots of leg room up front. 100% love it!!

So much fun

It just makes me happy every day. I love the color- the orange trim on the black leather seats! It's also roomy and comfortable; great gas mileage and reliability plus safety features like lane correction and a blind-spot monitor.

Kona Ride

I bought a 2020 Kona to replace my Elantra. Love the new car and all it's characteristics. It's fun to drive and is classy to look at. It has great mileage - I'm getting over 30 miles per gallon around town.

Adorable but slow

I love the look of this car. It’s cute, compact and gets you from point A to point B. If you like speed, I would not recommend this car. Storage is great cause the back seats fold flat (after taking the head rests off) and you can pile so much in there!

I love the performance and the appearance of car. I do have difficulty reaching the truck/rear door handle to shut, I am very short. The handle is also loose and occasionally falls out. I wish the door could be adjusted not open so high. It is difficult to wash rear window due to overhang of exterior of roof of car.
