Looks great in white

So I went from a Land Rover to a Hyundai because a Kona had caught my eye several months ago. My Land Rover was in the first stages of engine failure, so it was time to move on the Kona. It's a different vehicle than what I was driving but I noticed it had most of the same features I loved in my Rover...plus a lot more tech! This car is flat out fun to drive, though getting used to a 4-cylinder engine has been an adjustment. I love the gas mileage and jamming to my playlists from my phone via Bluetooth. Overall a great car value. And yes, I recommend white...the trim really pops!

Love It

I'm short, and this is the perfect car for me. I drive to work 5 days a week. I fill my gas tank every 2 weeks, it's great! My seats adjust to me or my 6 foot 2 in Husband. I have no complaints. You will not regret buying one.

Perfect subcompact AWD SUV

Love the Kona! Considered the Subaru Crosstrek and Mazda CX-3 along with the Kona because they were the top rated. But the Kona is more compact and has outstanding features. On top of that, it was available, unlike other brands who have not been producing new cars.

I always have a great experience every time I go to Hyuandai and I got my daughter buying her car there, and she is very happy with the outcome. My oldest daughter bought another car from a different dealer and she said never again. I have nothing more to say

Second Kona

We love the Kona so much we upgraded to the 2021 model and love it even more than our 2019. From the acceleration to the gas mileage to the quality handling we are very pleased. The technology and safety equipment is TOP NOTCH.

Terrific value

A utilitarian & stylish vehicle at a reasonable price. High technology content & reasonable handling & convenience features. Although a bit sluggish in acceleration, it’s basically a small SUV intended for daily driving and not track performance. At its’ price, a very good value & highly rated by almost every auto magazine and internet evaluators.

2021 Kona sel

Car is ok but doesn't really meet my need in a vehicle. There is not enough room in the back for groceries, putting a child seat make it cramped in the back seat . Even my 4 year old asked why there's no room. Because of it's under powered engine, you never get very good gas milage. For someone with no children it's probably a good car.

A great value for money and one of the best city cars around. Pros- Styling, safety features, cost, fuel economy, decent ride quality Cons- Transmission is not so smooth especially at lower speeds. Small cargo space.

Happily Surprised

We felt the need to retire our faithful Subaru Forester and found the Kona SEL to have the size and sportiness we needed to continue hiking and kayaking with the dogs in tow. Everyone fits with room to spare and performance is surprising. Plus it looks good.

Brakes and gears

The brakes make noise and the car is brand new. It is always hard to get a phone paired to the blue tooth. When driving the gears will stick and then the rpms go up and the car jerks forward. Also when stopping the brakes are very sensitive

2021 Hyundai Kona Limited review

This car is simply amazing. Car and Driver rated the four cylinder turbo version 5.0 / 5.0 and this is what got us first looking at the Kona. I needed to replace my aging Volvo C30 hatchback, so I was looking for something nimble and quick and the Kona stacked up nicely when set into high performance mode. We were so blown away on the test drive, I never ended up pursuing test drives on the other options I was considering, we bought the Kona on the spot. The list of features that came equipped on the Kona Limited trim line was extensive, thoughtfully designed and felt to me like an amazing bargain at the price it was selling at. I cannot speak highly enough of the Meriden Hyundai dealership at which I bought the Kona. The buying experience, start to finish, was absolutely perfect.
