THIS IS OUR SECOND SANTA FE, 3RD HYUNDAI OVERALL

WE HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE VEHICLES, THIS ENGINE FAILER HAS US CONCERNED. EVAN THOUGH IT WAS HANDLED WITH EXPERTISE, IT LEAVES A SHADOW OF A DOUBT IN THE OVERALL QUALITY CONTROL AT THE PRODUCTION PLANT.

Disappointed

I been having trouble with this vehicle since I purchased. I got the vehicle brand new in 2013 and the problems begin about a year later. It makes off and on clicking noises, the display screen show words in Chinese at times, I have had to change the battery so many times, and now the air control unit has stop working. I will NEVER purchase a Hyundai again!

Love my car

The best choice for me. Have medical issues with back pain and the heated seats are awesome. Have heard that former owners loved the Santa Fe. The defrost works so fast, saves me a lot of time on work days. Music, phone, radio what’s not to like.

It’s a great suv

Santa Fe sport drives and handles excellent , good looking vehicle and very dependable. Price a little high, but the fit and finish of the body fits well and body lines up well including the door and hood gaps. We have the 4 cal engine and at times is a little sluggish but for the most part pretty peppy especially with the shift points on the transmission. Would probably upgrade to a 6 cal when we purchase next new car.

Love my Hyundai

I have had nothing but great experiences with this car. It is economical and excellent in the snow with AWD and the option for 4 wheel lock on top of that; with those features it drives like a little tank in the snow. I feel very safe in this car in bad weather. Handling is superb and cargo and passenger room is excellent also. I love the styling (mine is white) and only wish that it had a power lift gate (not an available option at the time of purchase). It is also very comfortable - the seats are very ergonomic with many adjustments available; an elderly family friend stated that my car was more comfortable than his daughter’s $80,000 Mercedes SUV...and I get to spend all that extra money on other things!! Love my car!

It's/is been a good, roomey vehicle

The amount of space the Santa Fe, Sport has was a surprise. Not much I couldn't do. I have driven this car across the country (Twice) without any problems. Not sure had to have the AC recharged. Not a big problem. I'll buy another one.

30,000 mile maintenance appointment

Made an appointment for my 2013 Santa Fe's 30,000- mile maintenance work that needed to be done. Got in on time and was given a loaner which to my surprise was a brand new 2019 Santa Fe. My vehicle was ready when promised and the price was exactly what they said it would be even though they performed a couple other features to my vehicle at no cost to me.Additionally, the weather outside was below freezing but they even washed my car for me as well as dried it off. Thank You Family Hyundai for always taking care of me and my Santa Fe's needs.

Hyundai Santa Dr sport 2013

Great reliable car. but the paint is pieling off. Just was 3 years when I brought it to the dealer attention. Sea l Dr find all different excuses. That is my only complain on the car. Hopefully someone will call me an correct this problem before I decided to purchase another Hyundai.

Likes and dislikes of my car.

the power from the turbo is great. The all wheel drive works really good on snow covered roads and generally I like the car the way the car preforms. The leather seats are holding up very well. I still don't like the design of the instrument panel. I had a 2008 that I really liked the interior much better.

Almost perfect

Excellent car, like a Swiss watch. 75,000 miles and about all I've had to do is put gas in it and have oil changes. The only problem I've had with it in over 5 years was just recently, when the windshield washer fluid pump began leaking and needed to be replaced. Otherwise, it has been totally reliable, and I'm still driving on the original brake pads and tires, which aren't near needing replacement. Hyundai makes great vehicles.

Great car great gurantee.

This car has been good and had very little trouble. There has been one recall. The Turbo feature is most helpful when merging into traffic and I would highly recommend this feature on any 4 cylinder car.

cheap electronics and they know it

solid basic vehicle electronic add-ons not worth it. buttons very hard to read and operate. guessing what you need versus what it does. dealer remote start shuts off when your ready to drive and step on the brake. Now you have to start everything again including electronics.

Nice car on the outside

My wife loved this Hyundai Santa Fe Limited as soon as she laid eyes on it. It looks nice on the outside and inside but the inner parts are cheap and fail quite often. It's like a pig with Lipstick. When you add the HUGH depreciation hit we took and we really wish we had gone another direction. The car was over $35,000 MSRP new and now 5 years later with only 58,477 miles on it (and it is in perfect condition) the blue-book private part is only $14,000 - $16,000 a whopping mere 40% of when new. Compare that to a Toyota or Honda.

Hyundai Santa Fe

We purchased our Santa Fe 2.0 Turbo in 2013. We took a cross country trip from Virginia to Arizona. The car performed excellently with no problems whatsoever going across the desert and up 8,000 feet to the Grand Canyon, Sedona all over Phoenix and back to Virginia. We love our Santa Fe Hyundai and hope to have it for a long time.

Our second Santa fe.

In April 2013 we traded our 2010 V-6 Santa Fe, which we really liked, and leased our Sport Turbo for three years. We purchased it 3 years later. Both were bought from Hendrick Hyundai. Other than a few recalls the only problem we had was a slow oil leak that turned out to be the sealant around the oil pan, a few months after purchase. Fixed under warranty. When Hendrick dropped the line, we believe Honda forced the sale, we began getting our service done at Hyundai of North Charleston. We love this SUV's power, handling and mileage. Just the right size for two older retired folks. Excellent service. The only problem is the location, we live in Mount Pleasant and the 20-30 minute drive is getting old every 5 months. Will have to consider a different brand when we decide to trade. With only 27,800 miles on it, it might be a long time to say goodbye.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

My windshield wiper fluid pump went bad! Regular oil changes every 5000 miles is part of my routine service. Anytime and everytime my engine light comes on, I go in for service. My driver side seat, the hard plastic strip that covers the bottom part of the seat has broken off a few times.

Great Vehicle

I have had this vehicle since 2013. My other Hyundai vehicle is a 2002 and it still runs. All of my children, including my husband, have driven it. My children learned to drive in it; however, it's a little banged up. The engine is strong, and everything works superbly. It has served me well. With both vehicles I have kept up with all the recommended maintenance. My 2013 vehicle have been serviced by Tony Cruz.

Great SUV

This vehicle is perfectly sized for all our needs and provides a sedan-like ride - quiet and smooth. The turbo-charged engine gives plenty of power, even when filled with 5 Red Hatters and their gear. We can't see this vehicle needing replacement in the foreseeable future, but when that day comes, it will be replaced with another Santa Fe.
