Best car I have ever driven, purchased, had. This hybrid is obviously the result of years of research and painstaking trial and error. The car is a luxurious, quiet, obedient, and loyal and trusty steed. The gas mileage is incredible. I average well above the EPA 40/42. As far as the warranty, it is also top-notch. I needed an engine replacement 50,000 miles due to manufactures defect and it was done without questions, qualms, or any sort of drama. I was reimbursed by Hyundai for my rental while the vehicle was out of service. For the value, you’re really not going to find anything better. There are other hybrids out there, but this is the only one besides Volkswagen with an actual six speed transmission which makes it feel like you’re driving an actual car instead of a golf cart. Hyundai put just the right amount of control over the driving characteristics… In other words around too many options to play with, but I don’t feel like anything needs to be changed. Eco mode sport mode normal mode; all three deliver their own unique handling characteristics and make the vehicle change personalities to suit your driving needs. As far as safety, you cannot trick this car. If you’re in a dangerous situation with wet and slippery roads you’re going to make it through. The stability program on this vehicle is miles ahead of even German imports I have driven. This car does exactly what you tell it to regardless of the circumstances. As long as you have good tires on it, you can hang as if you were on railroad tracks. I have never felt more safe in a vehicle. The brakes will stop this car on a literal dime. Stability systems are extremely important to me as I was in a very bad car accident in my teens that could’ve been avoided if the vehicle is equipped with ESP. I feel like this Sonata is the perfect blend of comfort sport value utility economy. If I want to Floor it, it responds with high spirits, if I want to take it easy it does so with grace and finesse. I’m surprised and it does not have a larger share of the market…
