2012 Sonata

Nice car but nothing special. Best plus is that it is fun to drive, responsive engine, good road feel. On the negative side, too many annoying little problems and recalls. Sunroof broke shortly after I got the car. Developing a number of squeaks and rattles. Overall a decent car though I'm not sure I'd own another one. On the lower end of the good value scale. My wife's 2005 Santa Fe and so far her 2016 Santa Fe just seem to be better quality vehicles.

Console and steering wheel repair.

My console, steering wheeland tyrod end were repaired at #1 Cochran Monroeville. The service dept. was excellent and the advisors were knowledgeable and efficient.The problems were repaired in a timely manner. Thank You

Excellent car, never had a problem with car at all. I have owned my car for 3 and one-half years. An engine problem 2 weeks ago. Hyundai replaced engine at no cost. They definitely stand behind their cars, very pleased

I like the Hyundai Sonata easy driving and very economical. it passes a gas station like it was not there. I like the style of the exterior and also the interior I do wish I had leather seats instead of the fabric

2012 Sonata Hy-brid

The car lives up to it's reputation. Good power, great mileage, and very comfortable. My city driving gets me 30-34 Mpg, highway, 40-45 Mpg. The controls, all around, are very easy to use and are well located. Nice interior fabric, and cleans easily.

Not a fan

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bough this car used. There have been so many recalls. Recall with something needing to be reset with engine. Recently had to get an engine out in because of this recall. Another recall with the airbags. Just not feeling this car at all. Not a fan and I can’t wait to get out of it.

Customer care services

Hyundai Customer Care Services are better than Hyundai Sonata's Product Functions. Some of main products can not be reliable during the warranty period, nor satisfied the comfortable driving conditions during the engine/transmission warranty period.

Nice car

The car is very nice but there are.problems that need to be aken care of. The breaks and break lights are faulty and the car need to be.recalled for rhat need. I have been having more problems than U need as with the breaks. The pedal sticks and the break lights stays on especially right after I picked it up from service. The break lights keep burning out and sticking not turning off. This should be a recall. U received a lett stating that it was a recall but when they called/texted, they said it wasn't therefore, I had to pay $124.00 service fee for diagnosis testing. I paid the fee but, didn't get the service because they didn't think it was a recall. Now....I am driving around with a break pedal and breaks sticking worst than it was before I took it in to get a diagnosis.

Car is decent

I think the car is decent for the asking price. I haven’t had any major issues with the vehicle as long as I stay current on regular maintenance issues. A little wear and tear but overall it was worth the money. I have driven it several times half way across the country and I felt safe and secure behind the wheel. The vehicle is great on gas. It is very spacious and comfortable for my growing sons. The trunk has great space and the head and legroom is quite generous. I recommend this car even though I have the base model. However like anything else the newer vehicles get better and better.

Love my bumper to bumper extended warranty.

Love the bumper to bumper warranty. The accuracy of the back up camera. All the free extras. When I brought my car I said I’ll never use the back up camera. I feel uncomfortable when driving a rental car. The storing wheel controls are very easy to use for the radio, phone, and cruise control.

Love my black beauty

I love my Hyundai Sonata 2012 turbo limited. It's sleek, fast, economical, beautiful, comfortable, spacious, financially sound, easy maintenance, great gas mileage, and has been the car of my dreams. I would buy it all over again!

Love my Sonata!

Love the sleek look, the comfort (especially the seat warmers in both the front & back), the keyless entry & engine starting system, the automatic transmission that still gives you the capability of manually shifting, the great gas mileage and most importantly the long warranty period.

Poor quality

My car was at dealer for 7 weeks for repair. It was waiting for one part for that long. The actual fix was just a couple of hours. Dealer said, the part was not available. I’m not sure why it took that long

LOVED IT until they couldn't repair it

I have loved my Sonata but recently had taken it in for service for a problem starting the car and a shudder in the engine. I'm not sure the two are related problems. The tech heard the issues but could not repair it and Hyundai (the manufacturer!!!) could not help either. My $26,000.00 disposable Hyundai. Not going to get much trade in due to the problem and nobody at Hyundai knows what to do. So not sure what to do with it. Throw it away? Donate it? It is a 2012!!!

Sonata 2012

I purchased my Hyundai Sonata in August of 2014. I haven’t had any major issues with my vehicle besides normal wear and tear. I’ve driven it out of state on a few occasions and it didn’t let me down. However, I would love to upgrade my vehicle soon.

For the money, the Hyundai sonata is the best car in its price range.it has all the luxury features one needs.

A great car has all the luxury features y ou would want with the back up camera and gps. there wer plenty of storage units in the cabin also in the dash comprtment. the trunk space was really quite large and when the rear seat folds down there is a lot of extra cargo space.

I have been driving my Sonata since 2012 and love it! The style is beautiful. Drives great. I get so many compliments. Love the sunroof. I would definitely buy another one and highly recommend their service department.
