Great compact car

I've owned my Tercel for 20 years and it is still going strong with original clutch and exhaust system on 235,500 miles. 40 mpg - hey new cars - can you beat that? If you do routine maintenance, your car will last a very long time. Change your timing belt as recommended, change oil regularly to keep you car long lasting with few issues.

Reliable and fun

Toyota tercels are clearly a very basic car. Tin can on wheels but I like it. Folks may not maybe cause you can hear alot of the road but it's a fun car. Minimal safey features for it's time but it's ok. To me it's dependable, good looking, and fun to drive.
