Much older than that
The criteria used for beginning this review has llimited choices but my truck (just plain old "truck" not a Tundra) is a 1993 Toyota with a shell I added to be able to secure purchases rather than leaving them in an open bed. My criteria for cars (and trucks) is reliability and this truck has been one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned (at 75, there have been a number). I have hauled everything from lumber to loads of tools, sometimes driving as far as from L.A. to British Columbia where we have a summer home. Other than a couple of dead batteries and a flat tire, I have never had a single problem with this reliable little work horse. And even now, after aquarter century, I stil find notes under the windshield wiper asking me if I am interested in selling this little gem of a truck.
