Failed to Stick the Landing
Recently purchased a G70. Vehicle was delivered with 3 severely under-inflated tires and missing the floor mats I paid for. Contacted the dealership multiple times, they said they’d make it right, then gave me the run around and fed me empty platitudes for a month before ghosting me altogether. Once they have your money, they don’t care.

genesis of arlington pathetic service
I purchased a new prestige genesis gv80 from them in 2021.

I tried to bring it in for service 3 times and only got aggravation but no service.

They are booking out into march of 2023 which is two months from now for service. I asked them to perform a navigation update since my system is not working and they said I had to do it my self. I explained to them that I would have to buy a 64 giga bite flash drive and all my computers have the flash drives disabled for security reasons. They said they can not help. They do not do updates .

Another time I tried to go there because I had a dead battery but I could not get any help over the phone. I asked if they could send a tow truck and they set up an appointment with AAA . They went to the wrong address and never came. That wasted 4 hours. I finally got the car started which was no easy feet because there is no way to open the doors or the rear hatch with no power. Lots of research on the internet. The service department said just bring it down. I show up and they tell me I can leave it for a week. I agree and ask them for a loaner or a ride home. They respond with we have no loaner and I can take an UBER. They also said go home and try to charge it. I was unsure if the car would make it. They did not care.

The previous time I just wanted an oil change but they could not do it even if I drove it in and waited for 2 months.

If I could give them a zero I would. They are horrible for service!!!!!!!!! Do not go to this dealership it is painful. I ended up calling Genesis of Braintree Ma. and they can accommodate me next week and do all that I asked. That is the difference dealing with a 5 star rated dealership versus this fake genesis dealership.

Genesis prides itself on being a luxury brand. The Arlington dealership is a Hyundai dealership that sells the Genesis brand . There is no special treatment at all. I have never been so frustrated with any dealership in my 61 years.

Hate to bash them but if one person reads this and benefits from it then I feel it is worth it.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!!! Called to make an appointment to turn my lease in. The guy Steve Chevilli is finance person. Had to book 2 weeks out because he was busy. Ken Wright scheduled the appointment with Steve. When I got to the appointment, Steve said he can’t do leases/buy outs on Saturdays & that Ken Wright is "not his secretary". Meanwhile, I called Steve day before to confirm. Left message on his voicemail why I was calling. He said he got my message but was “so busy” to return my call. So instead he let me drive 45 minutes to get there for absolutely nothing!!!!!! He actually had the audacity to walk away from the conversation without saying a word. Stay away!!!! If you’re not buying, they don’t give a F!!!!

The purchase process was fast and efficient once the car arrived. I placed the order and waited about 3 months. No room for price negotiation, so had to pay full MSRP. Documents fees were higher than was given at the beginning, but didn't want to haggle over it. Jimmy was professional and courteous. Overall experience was positive.

Andy, our salesperson, was exceptional . He was enthusiastic, knowledgable, and made the buying experience fun. My wife, who rarely ventures into car dealerships was likewise pleased with Genesis of Arlington and would not hesitate to recommend the dealership to our friends. We have had the car for a week and both agree that the GV70 is indeed an exceptional vehicle that we both love to drive.

Great experience!
Love our Genesis GV70! Mirak, and especially our concierge Andy, were informative and supportive throughout the process. It took much longer than expected for the car to arrive because of Covid and shipping issues. We were kept informed of what was happening on a regular basis. The purchase price was fair and the trade in value was good. I'm almost 80 and this was the most pleasurable car buying experience I've ever had.

Better than expected.
Worked with Kiko to get the GV70. The whole process was straightforward without any frustrations. Kiko was very responsive to emails and was able to provide the requested information. This was probably the most relaxed car buying experience I have ever had, mostly due to the fact that they were not adding dealer markups and taking undue advantage of the market scenario. I was more than happy to finalize the sale on MSRP without any hassles of negotiations.
