Very Happy Overall- needs some minor tweaks

I like the car very much, good mileage and has a lot of nice features. Biggest complaint is the android auto often malfunctions making it impossible for me to ever call someone using voice command

My wife and kids love this car. It is bigger than expected

The only problem we have with this car is the battery degradation is degrading more than expected. The good news, we have a 10 year battery warranty

Great Ride

I went from a full-size pickup to the Kona, and I enjoy driving again. My driving is mostly 50-100 mile round-trips, once or twice a week, with a little driving on dirt construction roads in addition to on-pavement. So far (14 months) I have only recharged at home, using the 12 amp portable charger, which takes a couple days to bring the battery back to a high charge from a low condition. I bought a rapid charger when I got the Kona, but have yet to install it as the portable is fast enough, and I can use a public fast charger if I'm ever in a bind.

Love my Kona Electric

Comfortable, quiet and a great vehicle for the city and beyond. Easy charge and when away from home, my Kona indicates the location of the closest charging station, if needed. When I get home each day, I just plug it in to my regular garage outlet to keep the charge high ready for our next adventure. Plenty of space for 3 additional adults plus sufficient cargo area for groceries.

I bought a new Kona EV SEL on 03/18/24. I and my wife love this car.

We appreciate all the safety features, especially the glowing red light on the display panel indicating someone in the blind spot, and the back up warning when someone is approaching in a crowded parking lot. The car has lots of zip and is easy to drive. It's a small SUV but has lots of room. It's easy to charge and our 120 hook up in the garage is all we need. We also like the heated seats, duel-climate controls, and easy to use buttons for climate control.

Perfect EV

The 2024 Kona has been easy transition to EV from gas vehicle. Everything about this car feels like a regular car. I love that it is and EV that blends in with every other car on the road. They have focused on making it a reliable, easy to drive and own car, rather than making it look different or special. Love this vehicle. And will gladly lease another at the end of this term.

Mileage could be better but great EV option

Tends to lose a lot of mileage in highway and in the winter like most EVs. However the loss really makes it a disappointment for longer drives. Overall still a great car. There are minor annoying bugs that make it a 4 star instead of a 5. Example include, constantly losing radio when connecting to Apple Car Play. Hand locking and unlocking is finicky. App is starting to show some improvements with less bugs.

Perfect size, a blast to drive

Overall, super pleased. Lots of features that we love. Very economical - better range than expected, first winter had significant range reduction, but as a local commuter car, did not impact us. Only very minor issues include the technology, which is somewhat less than user friendly, and I must watch my head getting into the vehicle, which is unusual for me since I’m only 5 foot 7 inches tall.

Comfortable. Handles beautifully - terrific turning radius, great acceleration. Gets well over 300 MPGe in warmer weather and easily gets the advertised mileage even in cold weather.

Great first EV experience

This is my first EV. I lease. I have had no issues with this car. The ride is super smooth, and a comfortable roomy ride. It’s got a lot of bells and whistles but not every feature I would’ve liked.
