Excellent car

I might keep it since was not built anymore. Excellent car, fun to drive, reliable, and a beautiful design, it keeps turning heads, people asking what car is it, is a shame that production of it was stopped!

Kona N - greatest compact suv ever made

Show me another compact SUV that has 300HP and gets 32mpg? Plus its fast, looks sharp and turns heads when in N mode. Overall super satisfied with the purchase. I wanted a sporty compact SUV to haul bikes and occasionally the dog.

Fun, used to commute 76 miles daily

If considering this car I'd suggest to go for it its a great compact suv. The Kona N is very nice and fun to drive. Keeping it serviced my be problematic depending on your experiences. Best infotainment on the market. Good balance of performance and fuel economy.

Love the vehicle - hate service

Only wish Kona N came with all wheel drive. Vehicle is perfect for my needs but dealership service experience sucks. Also called Hyundai customer service and rcvd run around. Level of service is a killer for me and will probably cause me to look elsewhere for another vehicle.

Don’t buy a Hyundai

The Kona N has been in the shop over 4 months out of the 12 I have owned it! Not reliable at all! The vehicle is a true definition of a lemon and I do not feel safe in this vehicle since you never know when the check engine light is going to come back on and you loose power to the point that you can’t go up a hill if you need more that 2000 RPM.

Age is showing flaws

Performance is still great with the car, but ergonomics are not great. The infotainment center is good to a point, but it reset itself one day, and that made me lose confidence in the system. The wireless charging location causes the most grief because you can change the AC settings when you reach for your phone. Brakes were extremely loud for the first 8K miles

Tires rub

This is a fun car to drive. Lots of features that I didn’t even get to use because we traded it before we had it for a year. The tires rubbed against something when in reverse and turning, and sometimes when in drive making sharp turns. The noise was concerning, but after two trips to the dealer, we were told it was normal for this Kona. It doesn’t sound normal when driving.

The Kona N is an absolute riot

The Kona N is a fantastic compromise between practicality and fun to drive. On the performance front, it feels like you give up very little. The shifts are so fast and smooth. The engine & exhaust make great caveperson noises. The interior is comfortable and has lots of fun tech.

2022 Kona N is a fun CUV

The 2022 Kona N is a fun performance compact suv/hatch that is great for commuting and also track capable from the manufacturer. It is essentially in a segment alone. Wish the Kona N had awd. The interior volumes are minimal with the rear seats up but with the rear seats down it offers additional utility.

Kona N

This a fantastic performance vehicle for under $40k. It compares to the VW GTI. The Kona N is a fantastic automobile for daily driving and for track duty. The biggest issue I have with the Kona N is the heavy use of hard plastic on the interior. Otherwise this car is blast.

I love my 22 kona n

I've owned the car for a year now, put about 6500 miles on it and never once had an issue. I love how the car looks sounds and handles in N mode the pops and bangs from the stock exhaust are just amazing.

The vehicle was a Kona n

Vehicle was very quick. The only issue I had was from Hyundai in the dealership. The car was pulling to the right extremely hard if I let go of the steering wheel, it will put me into the wall. I called Hyundai and I got provided a case number. But never got in touch with my case manager call multiple times they never called me. And I also emailed and got no response from my case manager.

2022 Kona N 1 year later

The tires will run down to slicks after 10k miles with standard driving. You will get started at in the parking lot and corners for the loud clunking sounds and shaking of your car. Due to your 'ackerman' steering, which they say is a feature. You will get bullied at car meets because it's a Hyundai and your DCT is going to fail soon and we hope you have a lawyer to fight you engine warranty claim. Overall almost perfect interior just needs some better materials used, and the seat heaters from a 2018 as 2022 is too weak. I personally love everything about the car other than the steering clunks at low speed/temperature and the lack of AWD. Have yet to have those engine or transmission issues but it is a cost worth the fun the car provides. Future models could use some added trim levels, think we would appreciate heated steering wheels or ventilated seats that are available in other countries.

N Trim Engine Replacement at 5,200 miles

Had to have the engine replaced at 5,200 in my Kona N. The first Hyundai I owned had the fuel pump go out at 1,400 miles. Not impressed with the quality of Hyundai. Working on solutions with this vehicle.

Hyundai is usually a reliable car but I have had this one long enough to judge yet

Great car but for the price and quality if I had it to do over again I would have bought a Mustang GT. I purchased the Kona because at the time I thought the Mustang was too expensive.After my purchase there really wasn’t that much price difference!

Even More Fun That I Expected

I replaced a much-loved 2014 Ford Fiesta ST (somewhat modified for autocross) and a 2017 Kia Soul Turbo with a single vehicle, the 2022 Kona N. I have been very pleasantly delighted with this vehicle's capabilities and love its high limits. It is fast, handles exceptionally well, rides well, handles cargo and passengers well, and basically is a blast to drive. The gas mileage is better than I expected, especially on the highway, and the driving modes make it easily adaptable to whatever conditions I encounter. I LOVE the exhaust sound and enjoy scaring the neighbor's cats from time to time with a loud downshift burble or two. There are significant blind spots at the A-pillars, but they just take some getting used to. Ditto for the rear view, though the blind spot monitor helps an lot. the rear window gets dirty easily and the wiper only cleans the center portion, but this is a very minor annoyance. All in all, I have no real complaints about this vehicle. The DCT works as well as any automatic I've ever driven, though I pine for a manual transmission. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Well first of all you are displaying the wrong vehicle my rating is going to be for the Kona n high performance so everything about this vehicle is the best engineering best sound system the best braking system I just can't find it anything actually or wrong

Hottest car on the market today

Straight from the factory this car is amazing. Sure you could have some higher end trim and audio, but for the money this car will rip your face off and replace it with a smile. It's the most fun can I've ever owned.
