Dependable

I have found the matrix to be a very dependable car. It is great on gas mileage and is a very comfortable ride. After almost sixteen years, my matrix still runs great. I plan to keep it for a long time to come.

Love my Toyota!

Have loved every Toyoto that I have owned. Safe, Reliable, economical and dependable! I recommend Toyota's to everyone. Best value for my dollars. With regular maintenance I have rarely had any problems with my vehicles!

Just a basic

Car handles well and is fun to drive. It is a basic so there's no extra frills. I might have liked a different driver seat. Long distance driving is not as comfortable as it could be. Perfect for hauling a few things and even car camping. Looks much like a Prius.

2009 Toyota Matrix S 2.4L FWD

Reliable and easy to maintain. Gas mileage is not as good because the tank is so small. Love the color and it has maintained its good looks since date of purchase. The manual operation still functions.

No longer recommend

This car has allowed rough ride insignificant Blindspot’s. The low profile top tires make it vulnerable and I have had to replace them often. In addition Toyota refuses to repair excessive oil consumption.

Good car

Good little car wish they still made it. Very reliable good gas mileage. Mostly highway driving but is very good for local driving. Fun to drive and enjoy my time spend in car. Meets all my needs in a car.

Love my Matrix

My car is 9 years old and still gets me where I need to go whether it is just around the corner or a long distance trip. I like that it rides a bit higher than other models like it because it makes it easier to get out of the car and easier to find in a parking lot. It is easy to drive and gets good gas mileage. What is not to like?

My Matrix has been great with a small number of service needs. It fits 4 people with comfort and is easy to drive and park.

Best "big" little car! Almost 180,000 miles and going strong!

Our Matrix has been the best "big" little car, hauling everything from kids to critters, to hay bales, goat and horse grain! Road trips and shopping trips...this car has been great! And the team at Gladstone Toyota has always been fantastic! Thank You!!

09 Toyota Matrix

My friend was moving away and only wanted to take one car. I was looking for a car. Price was right so I acquired this what I thought was a tiny car ( years of driving vans and SUVs ). Found out it is amazingly accommodating to whatever I need to carry. It is reliable, economical, comfortable and has ended up making me extremely happy. Good lesson learned - don't judge a book by its cover !!

One problem

This is my second Matrix. As usual Toyota cars seem to require few repairs . My biggest complaint is the change in the location of the side mirrors from my 2003 Matrix. The current location of the mirrors makes it difficult to see when turning left because the right mirror blocks your vision. My u
