Fine machine. Too bad Volvo no longer makes it.
Bought it new in 2002. Reliable machine that is pleasant to drive and reliable. A real plus is it's excellent corrosion resistance, important on the heavily salted winter roads here in WNY. Replacement parts made by Volvo are pricey compared to decent aftermarket ones which we have usually used and found satisfactory. The biggest problem was lousy service from the dealership where we bought it and initially where we took it for repairs (though 25 miles away). Repairs were repeatedly improperly done, in one case, lead to engine coolant bleeding onto garage floor and an almost overheat of the engine. Far less expensive service with good results have been since obtained with a good local garage with competent mechanics.
